"Eh? You want me to get drinks for you guys?" I pressed a finger to my lips in thought.

"Since you're the new kid clearly you should do us, seniors, a favor and get it for us." the guy looming over me grinned.

"Or maybe we should ask your brother instead? He's not as cute as you though." they mocked.

"Aw, thanks for the compliment. I'll get your things so please don't come near my brother at all."

I smiled brightly.

I'm Noel Newman, my brother Perry Newman is a couple of years younger than me. Our parents are both very busy so they're not home much. It's been like that since Perry was small so I've always taken care of him. We both go to the same all-boys school, I'm seventeen and he's fifteen. In an all-boys school, I've gotten rather popular as of late along with my little brother for different reasons.

Perry and I are half-brothers, my mom was from Korea and my dad was from Russia. I ended up being the short, slim, and cute-faced type. As for my brother who my dad had with his new wife after my mom passed away, well I guess Dutch and Russian are a good combo because my fifteen-year-old little brother towers over me with his six-foot-one status.

The only problem is he's a quiet crybaby, who gets beat up easily. We left my old school because he was bullied all the time. I'm hoping he has a better experience here, so I've been dealing with Senior Gu and his cronies from other classes instead. It's been stressful, but my brother would have cracked long ago under the pressure. My motto is to smile and go with the flow. As long as I listen, but don't come off as terrified, I can survive easily. My face also helps out in its own way.

"Let's see, chocolate milk, coke, sprite, water, and berry tea!" I made sure I got everything before heading out of the snack bar.

"Ah! Noel wait!" I turned to see a senior approach me.

"Hm, oh hi Derek!" I smiled, it was Derek, one of the student council members.

"Do you have a moment?" he wondered.

I looked up at the clock, there was some time, I looked back to him and nodded. I followed behind him around to the back of the school. Confused, I wondered why he was being so secretive. That's when he gave me a pink letter and I raised an eyebrow.

"...Please accept this. I like you." he urged.

"Why?" I tilted my head.

"Well you're cute...and sweet and innocent." he began listing off superficial things.

"Thank you, Derek, but I have to decline there's someone I like already!" I said, using my trademark excuse.

"...Ah, I see. Well please consider me at a later time then...and could you not tell anyone?" he begged.

"You got it! I have to deliver these drinks now!" I waved bye, before heading on my way.

I knew things like being gay or liking other boys were common in all-boys schools, but I didn't expect it to be this widespread in a school as big as this. I had to deal with several scenes like this, but none of them seemed to find anything interesting about me aside from my girlish face and tendencies. Besides, I had yet to find a guy I thought was attractive so I'm pretty sure I'm not gay.

Climbing the stairs to the senior level where I could deliver the drinks, I overheard two people arguing in the hallway. I needed to pass through them, but I didn't want to interrupt so I just stood there awkwardly waiting.

"We're not going out! I have no interest in you." the man I recognized as my last period math teacher, Mr.Steel said.

"But why did you treat me this way all this time...weren't we dating." the other guy responded.

"Silence! Are you trying to ruin my reputation." Mr. Steel said.

"But I love you..." the other one whispered.

"I told you I don't care." Mr. Steel shook the student off before leaving.

Huh that hair and edge trim, wasn't that...Mercer Jang? He was the top dog of our school. No one messed with him or risked getting hospitalized, but he somehow also had a good relationship with teachers, I really wondered where his delinquent persona came from. Either way, I shouldn't get caught by him. I'll take the back way-

"You...why the hell are you here...how long have you been here?" Mercer demanded.

This was bad, very bad. I really don't want to be hospitalized today. What do I do...what do I do...I looked and noticed I'd bought his favorite soda...well at least I think it is the drinks it all the time.

I held it out to him, "I like you!" I said suddenly.

He froze in place, a faint blush on his cheeks. Seriously?! That was the best comeback I had!? Ugh, this was way too humiliating. But it was too late to backtrack...let's just hope he hurries up and rejects me.

"I um...just wanted to tell you because I couldn't take it anymore...but I saw you with the math teacher." I continued explaining to try and make it seem more realistic.

"I know this is your favorite please accept it!" I placed it in his hands.

...He smirked, "You're publicly coming out to me right now. What if I'm not gay?"

"I just want to tell you my sincere feelings," I said seriously.

"Cute...but I don't wanna get involved with someone right after getting my heartbroken." he patted my shoulders before walking away.

I was grateful to have escaped and ran off quickly. I gave the remaining drinks to the seniors while avoiding the leader whose drink I'd given to Mercer. I'd hoped to run down to the snack bar and buy it again, but the bell rang and I was sent to class, which happened to be math. Mr. Steel walked around checking all the students work, and when he came over to me he put a hand on my shoulder,

"Do you need any help?" he asked.

"I'm fine," I said.

"Well stay after class a bit," he instructed.

When class ended everyone else flooded out the building, but I was stuck talking to Mr. Steel.. He gestured for me to come closer and I did, taking a seat on the desk as he asked. Was he gonna help me with my work?

"Your math grade is a bit low. If you'd like I could give you some personal lessons." he placed a hand on my thigh.

" I'll ask a friend!" I smiled before leaving quickly.

After escaping that situation I ended up hiding during the break between class periods behind a bench. I didn't want Mr. Steel or Senior Gu to find me so hiding, for now, seemed best. Peeking out I spotted Mercer looking at the math teacher from before who was with another student and then he looked back and saw me. I gulped and whirled away from his sight, I wonder if the math teacher tried the same things with me on him?

"You little shit so this is where you were hiding." I looked up and found Senior Gu looking at me.

"...Hehe...hey?" I said.

"Where the hell was my drink. Did you leave me out on purpose you fucker?" he grabbed my shirt.

"I gave it to Mercer." I glared.

"The fucK?" Gu glared.

"It's his favorite so I gave it to him. I can get you another." I smiled sweetly.

"...Hmph, I'm letting you off this once." He stormed off.

"Okay, please leave my brother out of this!" I waved them goodbye.

That was when Mercer looked away from staring at the teacher and walked over to me. I looked at him curiously, before dusting off my clothes. Time for me salesmanship smile again I supposed,

"Did you want me to get you another soda?" I wondered innocently.

"I'll be your boyfriend," he said.
