Rey woke up, sweat covering every inch of her body as she gasped for air, sitting straight up in the, rusty creaky bed that was in the dust covered house. She slammed her hand onto the wooden, bedside table until she felt cold metal and she wrapped her small hands around the thick black frames of her glasses. She brought the glasses up to her face and gently placed them onto her face, wiping dust of them. She wiped her face with the sleeve of her pajama shirt and swung her feet over the side of the bed carefully placing her bare feet on the cold wood, wincing slightly as they touched the cold surface. Rey looked around her room briefly, it wasn't much, just a bare dusty wall, with a weak wooden bed in the corner, and a small bedside table, that contained few drawers, and a lamp on top of it. Rey couldn't imagine anything better though, after all the cold windy nights, laying on the soaking grass, this was heaven for her. Rey turned around, brushing some of her light ginger hair out of her face and shuffled towards the white door of her bedroom, the paint faded with age. It had many splinters and sometimes they stuck her and she got a flashback of when she had first moved in here, 2 years ago and she had run to the giant bunny that she now called her uncle, and asked if he had any pink band aids as she tried to wipe the small drop of blood on her sleeve lazily.                                                                                    The bunny's purples eyes had closed, and it had chuckled lightly, amused by the small girls antics. Rey's eyes flashed shaking her head at the memory embarrassed with herself. She shuffled out, her oversized white sweatshirt swaying in the wind. Just as she went to open the bathroom door, she heard a creak from down the hall, her head swung towards the direction that the ear piercing noise was coming from, well, what seemed ear piercing in the utter silence. Rey's dark green eyes flashed, remembering the nightmare that was forcefully thrown into her thoughts as she slept, by one of the five souls that lived within her, just to remind her the family she was living with. Her mind snapped out of those thoughts, and the creaking noise got closer and she stumbled back, slightly fearful. The footsteps got so close that she could see the floorboard creak, and just as she got ready to run, or tackle whatever was there, it stepped into the light. "Did I scare you, sorry." Michael Afton, with his oddly colored skin and crisp British accent, stood in the light, his dark brown hair, somehow still standing after all the hell he had been through shifted lightly from the draft coming from a window near them. "Yeah you did, but it's alright." Rey peeped, again, embarrassed. "I'm gonna use the bathroom one second." Rey muttered sleepily as she pushed open the bathroom door, and it made a horrible scraping noise on the floor as Rey pushed it open, and pushed it close finally satisfied hearing a small click, meaning the door has shut.                                                                                                                                                    After using the restroom, Rey slammed her shoulder into the door, trying to get it to budge, but it wouldn't. She stared at it for a second before saying "Hey Mikey- can you help me open the door?" Dead silence was her answer. The small girl smiled knowingly, stretched out, and then said loud enough for everyone in the house to hear "I GUESS THAT MEANS THAT I WON'T HAVE TO START A NEW SCHOOL IF I'M LOCKED IN THE BATHROOM." She cupped her hands around around her mouth just to amplify the sound. She then sat, proud of herself, as she heard heavy mechanical footsteps storm down the hall, and mere seconds later the door flew off it's hinges and there stood five...people? No, no, animatronics. First off there stood Scraptrap, his bright purple eyes looked angry but he had a huge, over-the-top grin, because of the suit he was in, as well as the others. The animatronic itself was a moldy green, after all the slow, painful years the 'Man Behind the Slaughter' had spent in it. One half of one of the ears was torn off, replaced by a small bunch of sparking wires, and the suit was covered in holes, revealing deep red, rotting skin. Next coming in was Scrap Baby, who used to be the ever so famous, Circus Baby, before she had been scrapped and left in a dark alleyway with other scrapped animatronics, such as her father and two others. Her bright red hair had faded to light orange color, and in-between light  orange metal hair, bright, now revealed wires stuck out like a sore thumb. Her green eyes looked goofily angry. Next stood Ballora, her usually closed eyes were now wide open, her tall figure was in an everlasting majestic pose, some chips of paint from her dark painted hair had flaked off over the years, but Ballora still danced, better than ever. The last animatronic, was Shadow Freddy, he was more of what was in his name, a shadow than an animatronic. He was a deep shade of purple with bright white pupils, otherwise his eyes were an endless black, like an abyss, he was missing one of his dark purple ears, but that didn't stop him from being severely intimidating, he shut his eyes and laughed slightly, since, he was only Chris inside and laughed at some of Rey's antics. Mike stood among them also, he was in the front staring down at her with angered eyes. "You ARE going to school Rey." Scraptrap replied in his crackling voice. Rey made a mental note to herself to try and fix it later. "I knew you'd come." Rey stared up at the five of them and grinned widely.                                                                                                                                       "And anyways, you guys are probably gonna make me move to another abandoned house after a year..." She mumbled, not wanting to discuss further on the subject, but at least express herself. Ballora straightened herself up and her eyes became slightly sympathetic for the child. "Well it's too moldy here, you could get sick." Ballora replied, crouching down lightly and patting Rey on the head, slightly messing up her hair. Rey's eyes widened slightly as she thought of a clever joke. "So is Uncle Will, but we keep him." Rey started laughing so hard that when she tried to get up she fell again, sliding against the dirty walls of the bathroom. Scrap Baby, or Elizabeth Afton started laughing along with Mike, Ballora, and Shadow Freddy. Scraptrap just stood there, then walked over to Rey and glared down at her menacingly. Rey shivered, remembering the dream again and started shaking lightly. "It was just a joke Uncle Will I-" The large green animatronic stuck his arm out and pat the small child in front of him. "You're one hell of a crackhead kid." Rey sighed in relief and laughed a bit more, before looking up at the smashed clock, which still worked somehow, and saw that it read three in the morning. Just as she saw the clock, the drowsiness kicked in, and as the family of animatronics was nagging each other, her head bobbed downward, her eyes nearly shutting, but she threw her head back up too hard and cracked her head into the wall and peeped lightly at the pain. They were all too loud to hear her, but she got back up and said sleepily "I'm going back to bed good night everyone." She was met with a quick chorus of goodnight's in all different pitches of voice, and then they went back to yelling at each other jokingly. Rey waddled down the hall, and pushed the creaky white door to her bedroom open and walked over to her bed, flopping down lazily with half her legs over the bed she drifted off to bed, the deep black taking over her vision. But not before a small whisper of "It's me." was heard.
