Chapter 1

It was an almost normal Saturday, let's just say, my life changed forever.
Oh I'm sorry I'm getting ahead of myself, my name is Tori Evy. I'm from Indiana and I'm 16 years old. I like to party, read, eat, and make occasional YouTube videos. I'm also a dancer, actress and singer. Yeah I'm a busy busy girl!

I woke up on a Saturday morning, hopped in the shower, and got ready for my day. I was really nervous because I had recently sent in a dance audition for a private performing arts school on L.A. and I've been waiting for the letter to tell me whether or not I'm in. I went downstairs to get some breakfast and saw my mom had made some bacon and eggs and that there was a note on the counter.
Dear Tori,
I had to run to work to do some end of the year paperwork. Be home by 1:30!

Mom
Great, home alone, again. My mom was a teacher and always doing something.
I grabbed the plate of food, phone and laptop. Might as well watch some o2l while I eat.

After watching about 20 videos and finishing my food, I did some laundry and finished my final project for Chemistry.
I can't believe I only have 2 days of school left. Holy shit this year went by fast.
When I finished my work I heard the door open and my mom yell "YOU GOT A LETTER FROM THAT PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL!!"
I think my heart stopped. I ran to my mom and grabbed the letter, it was more like a packet though.
I tore it open and out fell a letter, plane tickets and a brochure. I tore open the letter and read it aloud to my mom.
Dear Ms. Evy,
We are happy to say you have been accepted into our school for your exceptional dancing talents. Included we have the plane tickets and the scholarship form. We can't wait to have you start.

I couldn't really read the signature because the guy's handwriting sucked! I was to busy freaking out to care!
"MOM I WAS ACCEPTED OH MY GOSH IM SO HAPPY!!" I screamed.
She ran over and hugged me. "Oh sweetie I'm so proud of you!!"
We decided to go out to my favorite restaurant to celebrate. We talked about when we would leave, and she said she'd give me a day with all my friends so I could say goodbye.
By the time we got home, I was pretty tired. So I put on some pjs and went to bed.
