Chapter 5

-Cameron's POV-

It was about 11pm when we finally finished the show. I got my usual rush of adrenaline and walked off stage. I heard Shawn say, "Hey let's go find Aubrey!" as he ran down the hotel halls.

I caught up with Shawn as I thought, "I really hope Bart lets her stay. She really needs a home bad, and we could give her one! Oh my God Cameron" I thought to myself. "She's not a pet. She's a-"

"Hey! Cameron!" I heard Taylor yell.

"Uhh, sorry. I kinda... spaced out." I told him, running my hands through my hair.

"You thinking about Aubrey?" He asked grinning as he elbowed me in the ribs.

"No" I almost yelled, much to quickly.

"Aww! I think someone has a crush!" He elbowed me again.

I shook my head as I said, "Dude. I seriously just met her. Barely 24 hours ago."

He glared at me and said, "If you like her, make her feel loved. She obviously hasn't had a lot of it."

"Man. He's always full of advice" I thought to myself, as I sighed and said, "Okay."

"Bruh. Don't beat yourself up about it. Just... be natural." He ran into a chair. "Like me." He said as he started laughing.

We walked into Aubrey's room laughing as Matthew told us to be quiet.
"Guys. Shut up. She's sleeping. But come look at this."

We walked over and Matt showed us that all of her clothes were ripped, torn, and dirty. Every one of them.

I looked up at her, as she said "No! Please! Don't make me go!" I was about to say something, but I realized she was just talking in her sleep.

"We should go guys." Shawn said, leaving the room.

"He's right." Nash piped in. As everyone left, I softly kissed her forehead and left. As I closed the door, I heard Jacob say, "One thing for sure is that I'm not letting Bart send her home."

"But Jacob. Do you think they'll actually let her stay?" Carter said.

"They have no choice." I said. "They are not sending her back. She's staying with us." I said as I looked at the other boys as they nodded in agreement.
