Right after Zhan left the hotel, Yibo sneaked out from his room and quickly walked down the stairs, willing to escape. But suddenly two giant bodyguards appeared in front of him, blocking his way

"You can't leave sir"

"Sir?" Yibo busted out laughing "hearing this word towards me sounds so damn weird. Excuse me but i want to go out"

"Mr Xiao ordered us to stop you here"

"Damn it, i amn't in the fucking jail" shouted Yibo "your boss it totally crazy, i'm going to sue him"

"Don't curse here and go on, we'll see who gets himself in the trouble" realizing that he stayed out from jail exactly thanks to Zhan, Yibo transformed  into the puppy in seconds and sweetly smiled

"Can i at least call to someone?"

"Sure you have that right"

Yibo hardly restored  the number in his mind and dialed it

"Who the hell are you?" Hearing familiar voice Yibo felt his heart gone soft

"It's me lil lion, Hao Xuan are you ok?"

"Hey dude, i was worrying to death about you. Did you recover?"

"I'm fine but boss... Did he beat you up  for saving me? Are you really..."

"I won't die" his voice became sad "we're childhood friends, how could i leave you alone, but where are you now?"

"Think i got kidnapped by angel"

"Did you hurt your brain?"

"I'm serious, he trapped me in the hotel  suite"

"Did you get yourself "sugar daddy?" Damn good for you dude" loud laugh almost made Yibo deaf

"Fuck you, i'm cutting the call see you as soon as possible. Wait for me ok?" Yibo looked around with desperate eyes, he was fine but what about his friend, left all alone?

Zhan was on the evening doctor's rounds, when saw little girl crying at the corner, he lifted her up and sat on the bench, placing her next to him "what happened my little one?"

"mom, she is ill" sobbed kid  "i'm afraid doctor uncle, is she going to leave me?"

Zhan lowered his head, hiding tears not to scare kid more. he was the one holding mom's hand during her last breath. being doctor was worthless, he couldn't do anything except comforting her with sweet words and smile  "do you know what moms are the most afraid of?"

"no" answered her with widening beautiful eyes

"tears of their children, it hurt mothers the most. so my dear, don't cry in front of your mom, just smile and tell how much you love her ok?"

"mn, where is your mom sweet uncle?"

"somewhere very far, where everyone is happy, but your mom is going to stay here with you"

girl nodded and wiped his tears, hugging Zhan tightly "i'll always smile at her"

"good girl" Zhan kissed her tiny hands and walked towards Ji Yang, waiting for him

"are you done for today doctor?"

"yes, i'm leaving"

"i'm surprised, you were always staying here, cause there was no one waiting for you at home. guess you got lover" winked Ji Yang at Zhan
