PROLOGUE

They claimed that whether or not you are wealthy, attractive, or ugly is not really significant; what matters is that you have a pure heart. However, it truly matters to me because I live in a world where criticism and judgment are normal.

Ikaw kaya mag karoon ng ganitong itsura! Maitim at naka eyeglasses , at maraming pimples sa mukha in short pinipig. Buti pa nga pinipig masarap ako mukhang di masarap. Parang inamag na slice bread, ganon !

I don't have anything exceptional to brag about. I'm not even particularly intelligent. I'm just an ordinary student who didn't fail any tests. Just average!

I'm not rich. I merely live with my grandma and half brother in a small house after my parents abandoned us while we were still young.

I'm a working student at Joli Café. I need this job to sustain my needs because I don't want to rely too much on my grandmother's money. Dalawa pa kaming pinapag aral niya kaya I should strive more for my self.

I must say that I am really tired of being tormented based solely on my beauty and social standing but there isn't much I can do. However, despite how much it hurts both physically and psychologically, I have to put up with all of that in order to graduate and accomplish my objectives.

I've experienced a lot of bullying over the years, and believed that was the worst and scariest thing that could ever happen to me but it turned out to be the least of my problems.

I never thought na yong gago na yon pala ang sisira ng pagkatao ko.
