“That is going to haunt me for the rest of my life,” Carter states as everyone gets ready to leave for home. “Which part? Someone being allergic to the sun, or the similar sibling age difference?” Haruhi asks and Carter shakes her head, “Neither, I had to tell my sister what a harem is,”
“My poor daughter!” Tamaki squeals, hugging Carter. The girl flinches at the initial contact before taking a deep breath and relaxing into his arms, the sight making everyone in the room smile brightly.
“Don’t forget, we’re going to the beach saturday and sunday,” Kyoya says as they all make their way through the halls. “We are?” Carter asks and the twins grin, “Everytime it was mentioned, you were asleep,” The girl rolls her eyes, reaching to grab Mori’s hand, smiling at him for a moment before going back to conversation.
“Speaking of plans, are you coming for dinner tonight?” Haruhi asks and Carter doesn’t even get the chance to answer before Mori simply says, “No,” making everyones eyebrows raise. “Takashi is taking Carter on a date with Ella,” Honey states with a giggle and Carters eyebrows furrow for a moment, “Where would we go with Ell-Kashi, no.”
“Don’t worry, Carter, I’ll be there, too,” Honey says, hoping the girls breathing will calm down. “Someone want to explain what’s going on?” Haruhi asks and Carter whines, “He said I wouldn’t have to meet his parents until they found out about me,” Mori pulls her into a hug, smirking when she buries her face in his chest with a groan.
“How did they find out so soon without you telling them? You’ve only been together two weeks,” Hikaru says and the couple turns a menacing glare towards Honey, who giggles. “I told Chikka and he told Satoshi,”
“And Satoshi can’t keep his mouth shut,” Carter groans, pushing away from her boyfriend and running a hand down her face, taking a quick once over of her outfit. “Is this a casual dinner?” She asks and before Mori can reply, her eyes narrow, “That means that if we show up, none of them will be in a suit, tux, or dress,”
“Then no,” He says and she nods. “I need to change then,” Carter mumbles, saying the same about Ella. “You all can talk and pick up Carter and Ella from their apartment when you finish,” The twins say and escort the sisters to their own limo so they can play barbie dress up party.
“Why were you making an actual effort for your parents to not know yet?” Haruhi asks, ready to attack if it had anything to do with status. “Takashi’s parents own part of the dojo business and police academy. He is next to own it, but like most CEO families, before either of us can take over our half, we have to be married. Our parents don’t push it too much and say we have until we’re twenty,” Honey states and Haruhi gaps with wide eyes.
“Would they urge you to marry Carter this early?” Haruhi continues, hoping for all of the information. “Once they meet her and because Carter is… The most likeable person there is, yes. They’ll want them publicly engaged within the next year,” Kyoya hums before Tamaki whines, “But she’s so young!”
With that, Tamaki and Haruhi exit the building, leaving Kyoya with his senpai’s. “Now that they’re gone, we need to quickly discuss a little bit of the behind the scenes. My forces are coming closer to infiltrating the mafia,” Kyoya decides to say, liking the two nodding. “But we need to find a good way to keep people from knowing Carter has anything to do with the infiltration and destruction, especially her dad.”
Honey is the first to voice his idea, “Well, if Takashi were to go to her father and get him to sign a teen marriage contract, that would allow her to legally live with Takashi where she would be safer. Plus, the promise of money from the marriage would keep his brain to happy to think there was any betrayal,”
Mori goes stiff, his mind happy with the idea of being with the newly met girl, but wanting her take on it. “We have to ask Carter about it,” Mori states and Kyoya nods, walking to the door, “Especially since if he signs the contract and dies or even when he goes to jail, the contract will still be legally binding. You’ll have to get married anyway… If your parents bring it up engagement at dinner, fill them in. On everything.”“Senpai is here,” The twins sing and grin as Carter walks out, fluffing her curls while the twins admire their work, the cream coloured mary janes accentuating the cream flowers on the short red dress. Her leg bandages were visible, but they didn’t care too much about that.
Ella managed to get a designers fashion sense from someone on her unknown mothers side because she was allowed to pick out her own outfit and managed to succeed with flying colours. A dark blue dress with tool skirting and jewels on the chest with white kitten heels. “You look fancier than I do!” Carter giggles, easily putting her sisters hair up in a high pony with her bangs out.
“I have to make you look good!” Ella exclaims, instantly giggling at her elder sisters face. “You did this,” Carter chuckles at the twins, who shrug with a grin before opening the door as a knock sounds through the apartment.
Mori had removed his tie and blazer, rolled up the sleeves of his button up, and undone the top two buttons. The twins definitely enjoyed the couple staring at each other for a while until Ella interrupts with a groan. “Just kiss already!” Mori and Carter turn bright red, but never the less, walk to each other and share a light peck.
“I really hope they learn a new type of kiss by the end of this week,” The twins mutter before waving and walking off to their limo. With everyone else gone, Mori instantly starts up his speech generator. “You look beautiful,” Mori says, placing another peck on Carters lips, lasting a little bit longer until interrupted by the clearing of a throat.
The couple chuckles and Mori peaks over, “And you do to, my little princess,” He grins, squatting down to catch her as she runs, giggling into his arms, squealing as she is lifted up. The interaction was all Carter needed, fully confirming that she and Takashi-would be the successful highschool sweethearts.
