A.N : Hi there! So now that you've stumbled across this book , just a little heads up. You may find some similarities between this book and other books as just like every writer , even I am naturally inspired by others' works. So , I did not "steal" the plot.
With that done , you're all set to tread the labyrinthine story of Zayn Malik. :)

Estelle's P.O.V
Without sparing another look over my shoulder , I ran. I ran , as fast as my thin legs could carry me.
My hair whipped my face as I frantically searched for an exit.
"Stop running , lady!"
The guard's voice echoed through the narrow , eerie underground tunnel in the secluded part of Labyrinth , but I paid no heed.
Missing the step in the middle of the tunnel , I tripped over. I winced in pain as the edge of the raised surface hit my stomach. I bit my lip , trying to choke the pain. I scrambled and stood up , sprinting again.
I looked on my side , looking for any possible exit from this place. In the search for an exit , I almost tripped over my gown , but steadied myself as I held on to the window pane.
But this time , a sharp pain shot up my right arm as I quickly retracted it from the pane and sure enough , there was deep gash from the nail protruding from the centuries old wooden pane.
I let out a small cry before clamping my palm with my left hand and scurried along the cramped , dark tunnel.
My luck was bailing out on me as the hallway only got darker and more silent. My claustrophobia kicked in as I gasped for air in the underground tunnel. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest as I prayed to God for an exit.
Soon enough , as if my prayers had been answered , I found a little branching of the tunnel. Though it was pretty much not noticeable , I managed to find it and slipped into it.
I pressed my back against the dusty , brick wall and held my breath. I waited in errie silence for the guard to pass.
Seconds ticked by and then minutes , but there wasn't any sign of the guard. I couldn't have possibly outrun the guard , seeing as this was a really long , narrow and single tunnel. He , hopefully , might have just given up and returned to his duty. Or , if my bad luck decided to play King , he just went back to call more guards to find me.
Whatever he had gone for , it gave me enough time to run the rest of the tunnel and finally reach somewhere on the inside of the palace.
So , crossing my fingers and muttering silent prayers under my breath I turned around to make a run to the end of the tunnel.
But in this process , something sharp cut through my gown and made a gash on my left thigh.
"Shit!"
My luck was getting worse by the second.
I looked down at my gown. It already had a small hole in them from when I had initially fallen into the tunnel. I had been walking around and somewhere in the Royal lawn , I fell inside this tunnel. To accompany my sprained right ankle , my bruised left thigh was stinging. And so were the scratches on my bare arms.
I shook my head as I half limped and half jogged my way to the end of the tunnel. It had been only minutes when I finally made out a wooden door - like thing.
I increased my pace and soon reached the door. I pulled it backwards and it opened without any real use of force. It almost seemed as if it had been a quite often used door. And not a wooden door in the underground tunnel.
I stepped on the other side of the door and found myself in what looked like a basement. I looked at the wooden stairs in the far corner of the room.
I thanked God and headed up the stairs. Wherever I was going to land , it would be inside the palace and I was fine with that.
The stairs went up and led me to , I guessed , a library.
I was confused.
I walked through the many aisles of the library until I found the main door.
Thanking my luck this time , I slid the sliding doors open and stepped out.
As soon as I took I took in my surrounding , I realised that I thanked my luck quite too soon.
My heart was beating erratically as my breath got shallower and quicker.
I landed in the Prince's chamber.
And standing in front of me , in all his glory , was Prince Zayn himself.
He had a harsh cold glare fixed upon me. I noticed how he clenched and unclenched his jaw. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed together , while his eyes took in my ragged appearance.
His features that once made me swoon and made me fantasise about him , were now causing me nightmares in the broad daylight , about how he would punish me.
His rage filled eyes settled upon my terrified ones , as he uttered the words which were enough to send shivers down my spine. And no , they weren't the good ones.
"I hope you realise what you've done. And also , I believe you do realise the consequences."
