The Home Maker.......Episode four

One Sunday morning, Emily and Tope had an appointment of visiting a particular guy. To woke up early as usual but she was surprised to see Emily still sleeping. She woke her up and found out that she was running temperature. Tope asked her what was wrong with her,she said she has fever. So Tope told her to take her bath and prepare to see the doctor,when she stood up to go to the bathroom she started throwing up and Tope was aware that when a person is vomiting,spitting,running temperature, feeling dizzy,that these were all signs of pregnancy, but she didn't tell her so they went to see a doctor who confirmed that Emily was a month pregnant. Emily was shocked she started ranting and crying. She had no where to go with the pregnancy. She decided to inform Naomi, because she was the only one that could save her.
           She called Naomi,her phone rang and rang and rang but she didn't respond because she was in church. After the service,Naomi checked her phone and saw nine missed calls form Emily so she called back. Meanwhile Emily was already frustrated,different thoughts were coming to her mind. She picked up the phone and saw that of was Naomi,she wanted to ignore it but she realised she had only one messiah which was Naomi so she answered and told Naomi all her problems. Naomi exclaimed and told her the only solution was for her to tell mom and dad.
         Emily thought it through before accepting the idea,the following week was Christmas celebration so Emily came back home. She decided to tell her parents about her misfortune but couldn't so Naomi helped her.
       One beautiful evening, the whole family was having dinner. Naomi then told the family what was going on and how she tried so many times to tell them but couldn't. There was silence in the room for few seconds. Dennis sent Ciara and Daniel to the room. However,Samuel knew about what was going on but couldn't tell his parents, he also avoided Emily at school.
     Mom was very angry,she screamed,smacked,scolded and flogged Emily. She regretted ever giving birth to her while dad's plan was to disown her but the love and persuasion from her siblings made him not to. He asked her who the bastard was that planted the seed in her but she doesn't know the father.
