That's the sound of a gunshot, that is, without a silencer. Without a silencer, a gunshot may sound like a sharp sound, loud and as time continues since that shot is fired, the sound decays into nothingness. The same thing that will happen to the one hit by said gunshot. They will turn into:

Adonis stood at a corner, the concrete was cracked and damaged, he looked towards the store, dimly lit and a bit broken down, see, Adonis was with his father roaming through a bad part of the neighborhood. As they passed the store, two boys jumped out, dressed in all black with broken down converse shoes. Adonis' father , Adalberto pulled out a gun. A glock 19 with a golden skull on the grip, it had a white line striking through it. He started to shoot at the boys and they shot back. Adonis hid behind a white range rover and felt footsteps coming towards him, he saw the two boys run past him into the night. He ran out of hiding only to see his father on his knees, a fresh bullet hole through his chest. Adonis collapsed with tears filling is eyes, the blood of his father finally reaching his clothes.

After Adonis stopped crying, he crawled over to his fathers lifeless body, he looked at his face. His eyes were wide open, he kissed his forehead and held his head up. He spotted his gun and started to reach for it, his hand dripping he blood of his father. His hands were shaking as a single tear dropped down from his eyes, as he held the gun. The blood on the gun was streaming down the line on the skull, he stared at it for a while then he heard sirens in the distance. He stood up and started to run, his weak and shaken legs only taking him so far before he collapsed, he could cry no more tears as dried ones stained his face. He took the gun out of his belt loop and rubbed his thumb over the skull, he said under his breath"Crimson Gold"
