A/N: A massive thanks to Shonaku for making fanart of the final scene in this chapter. More notes in the next part. Now, on with the finale.

It hurt as Deku fell on the other side of the portal. His most of his clothing was burnt and charred and his insides felt like they were burning up, which was exactly what was happening. The heat that had killed All for one was now slowly creeping throughout his body, but he still had things to do. Death would have to wait just a bit more.

Deku defiantly stumbled through the dim and large room he found himself in. Spread around the floor were several large glass tubes filled with white liquid. There was a single message written on each and every one of them, written in red. 'Failure' along with various dates. The oldest being 3 years back while the newest just being 2 months ago.

As Deku continued to walk past the past failures, he eventually reached a desk and a chair. On the desk there was a monitor, an empty syringe and a strange device. Both of them was connected by wire to something hidden behind the desk in the dark.

Deku sat down on in the chair and turned on the monitor. Multiple lights lit up behind the desk, revealing a massive computer farm. Deku hissed as he took in a deep and pained breath. He then pressed a button on the keyboard in front of him, turning on the camera on top of the monitor.

"We succeeded. All for one is dead" Deku stated. "But it has come at a great cost for me. The power I used to kill him is now slowly killing me. And there is no way to stop it. I've tried to find ways, but there isn't any. At least not any that are currently achievable. So I'm using this time to give one more order" He explained before taking another pained breath. "From this moment on, contingency 1-1 is enacted and will continue to be so until the potential success of the phoenix protocol as outlined in the contingency. If the phoenix protocol does not succeed, contingency 1-alpha is to be enacted in the place of contingency 1-1. The generals are now in charge. Dabi, Todoroki, Mushou and Spinner, be careful. You'll need to contact the lead designer of the more technical aspects of the phoenix protocol, the Tinkerer. Her real name is Melissa Shield and she works on I-island. She will help to ensure the phoenix protocol's success" He said before pausing.

"Edit this next part out Melissa. I only want you and the generals to know about this" Deku said, his tone shifting to a more nervous one. "Alright. Without going into the details of how and why, I will reveal a secret I've kept close to myself. For a few years now I've had regular meetings with Ochako Uraraka, known as the hero Uravity. We've developed a very close relationship despite our differences, and I mean very close. She means a lot to me. That is why she will be taking care of Eri, as well as our, as of yet, unborn child. She will also help my mother whenever she can" Delu explained. "Therefore I don't want any of them involved with the revolution" He said, his tone turning much harsher. "Do not look for them, do not interact with them, and keep them away. If Ochako makes that impossible while acting as a hero then minimise damage as much as possible" Deku explained and let out a huge sigh.

"Alright, end the cut here Melissa" Deku said before continuing with the message. "All other instructions are outlined in the contingencies. May we one day rise out of the ashes. Goodbye" Deku said before turning off the camera and the recording. "And good luck" He muttered.

Deku then grabbed the syringe and filled it with his blood. He put down the now filled syringe and turned his attention towards the device lying on the table. Melissa had put it together in a hurry to make it functional, so there hadn't been time to make it look nice. It mostly looked like a bunch of circuits attached to a bulky helmet. Izuku put the device on his head and pressed a button on its' side. A low buzz could be heard along with a weird sensation in his head before everything suddenly went dark.
