Prologue

I glanced at my phone again when i felt that it vibrated meaning I had received a message.


At sa wakas ang text na hinihintay ko kanina pa.



Nicky Matthews: I'm already here near the big gate.😁✌️

Me: Ok.



I said 'ok.' but in my mind it was thank goodness.


Kanina pako naghihintay dito sa may malaking puno sa tapat ng simbahan na kadikit ng high school building ng school namin dati.


At ayun na nga siya. Natatanaw ko na.


"Hey." Bati ko sa babaeng nasa harap ko ngayon. Babaeng dati ko nang iniwasan noon , pilit na kinalimutan ngunit hindi nawala sa aking isipan.


"Hey to you too." She greeted back. It has been years since we met and now we're talking as if we were best friends again. Tangina lang.


Naupo kami sa upuang malapit dito sa malaking puno.


"Ano nga palang naging strand mo?" Parehas na kaming graduate ng senior high school namin ngayon yet hindi ko alam.


Kasi nga, wala naman akong balita sa kanya at hindi ako nakibalita tungkol sa kanya.


"ABM. Ikaw, what did you take?" Sagot nya. Ako lang ba o mas gumanda ang kaharap ko ngayon. When we were together she was chubbier. I think nag workout sya. Mas sexy na yung pagka chubby nya e. Good for her.


"STEM." Yeah right I was a fucking STEM student.


"Wow! I mean they say that STEM is hard." No shit Sherlock. It is but you need to be tough for your dreams right?


"Well yeah it is. Pero kelangan kayanin at panindigan kaya ayun." I nearly scoffed takte tunog bitter ako ah.


"Kumusta naman sa ABM? Alam ko naman na lahat ng strand o track mahirap." I had to ask to keep the conversation going.


"Ayos lang naman, kinakaya." She glanced at me. Hindi maiwasanag mapatingin sa mga labi nya. Shit. Since when did those lips of her became to look that good.


"Shit..." I muttered.


" What was that?" She asked without knowing the possible outcome of her question. Which made me smirk.


The next thing we knew my lips are pressed passionately against hers as all my feelings and memories we shared flowed back unto me.


She responded to my kiss. And when we pulled out for air she smirked at me.

"Hmm. So you now know how to french huh." She said teasing me. Dati kasi nung kami pa, hindi ako pa ako marunong.


"Yeah. Wow those lips are so good." I had to say but not all of the things that are running through my mind right now.


"Well you are not that bad yourself." I scoffed.


"Not that bad pala ah." At saka ko siya hinalikan muli ngayon ay hindi na ako nagpigil. Gumala ang mga kamay ko sa kanyang katawan. Like I'm a pirate on an adventure looking for treasures.


Suddenly, something in my mind clicked. Fuck I should not have forgot about that. Then I quickly pulled away.


"Shit. Oops?" Uh oh......


"Why?" She asked.
