Chapter 16

What had happened yesterday, you really got your hopes high. You tried to confess to him yesterday. You were eating with them again. The mood is all good until a different girl come towards you. She looking at Akaashi and only him. And confessing in front of us like we not there. Here while we were eating?

" Akaashi-san I like you please go out with me!"

" How much confession you got for a month?" Bokuto spit out his thought. Me and Yui snickered at Bokuto who's quickly cover his mouth. Akaashi look up at the girl and say,

" I'm sorry but I don't think I have the same feelings toward you."

" Do you perhaps have someone in your heart. I'm sorry I confessing without thinking about your feelings."

" Don't sorry, and I don't think I have someone special."he says while taking a glance at me. 

Yui and Bokuto staring at Akaashi who still talking to the girl about something. They really thought that he feels the same way as you but its not. You know what his answer already just staring at your food.

The answer he gives to the girl, really hurt. You cant understand him at all. Then, why is he care so much about me? What about yesterday? Is he just want to playing with my heart?? Your thoughts makes your anger rising. You unconsciously breaking the chopstick on your hand into half. The noise the chopstick making have their attention.

" (y/n) you're okay? You want to use mine? I have extra." Akaashi said while holding you his extra chopstick. Akaashi, do you enjoy play with my heart? You just shook your head then take out yours. You also had extra of it. You just ignore the tension atmosphere around you and continue eating. 

The bell ring then you guys clean up your spot. You waved at Bokuto when he's walking to his class.

" Bye Akaashi!" you said with a cheer voice. That make the volleyball setter feel weird with your behaviour. He can see that you were mad at him even he don't know the reason why. And suddenly you were extra cheerful.

" Can I see Bokuto-san?" A boy call you at the front door. Yui looks at you who still drowning in your thoughts. She softly knock the table and point it to the door.

" Someone searching for you." You stand up from your chair and walk to the door. To see a familiar boy in front of you. You can't seems to remember where you met him but he somehow exist in your memory.

" Have we me-"

" No, we haven't! I, um, I have something to talk to you. Its, um, about my feelings."

" Sure."

" Can we go somewhere private?" he brings you to a quiet hallways where not many people went there.

" So, what are you gonna talk about."

" Not him, we want to talk to you." a quite familiar voice appear behind you, you turn your head to see Itazura and her minions. Again? I'm so done with her. Can't she just vanished from my sight?

" Can you just leaving me alone?"

" Its your problem. I already told you to stay away from him, but being stubborn you are," her hand swing towards you. Her hand didn't reach you but something did. Making your arm started to bleeding. Your hand got a big cut by a sharp scissors in her grip that he got from school workshop. Its really hurts. Blood dripping your hand.

" That's a warning before something big happen." You move your legs and run from the sense. You bumped into someone chest that makes you fall from the ground but still holding your injured arm. You didn't bother to look at the person that you bumped into. A few seconds of nothing, a pair of arms lifting you up and he started running. You look up and saw your brother who had an angry expression on his face.

" Koutaro..."

" I know something would happen if you nears him. Im so dumb."

" It just a large cut. Nothing worse than that. The cut will heals in time." the nurse said while wrapping your hand. Bokuto looks at you with an uneasy face. You thanked the nurse then she leave you two in the room, taking some painkiller for your wounds. You swinging your legs from the bed while looking at the ground.

" Who did this to you? It is the same b*tch?" you know he being deadly serious by his nickname that he gave to the person that hurt you. He never said bad word unless he pass his limits. You told him it was Itazura and her minions. He clicked his tongue hardly.

" I talked to teacher and she got expelled because of that and you wont see her again,"

After knowing that she's the one who hit your head, the principle put her in detention for 2 days. But Bokuto felt like its not fair to just let her like that. He said that Itazura will hurt you again in the future but the principle thinks that she will learn from her mistakes after she got detention.

While (y/n) treating her wounds, Bokuto talked to the teacher that more understandable and thinks about what they gonna do with Itazura. They also bought the conversation to the Principle office and finally he agrees to throw her from the school. Her bullying case been to much also backing up the proposal.

" Finally, I felt saved."

" Why did she do this to you?"

" She said because I hanging out to much with Akaashi..." I whisper, he barely can hear.

" All of her doing, because you close with Akaashi?" you slowly nod. " I serious that I don't want to be a bad person here but I think you need to have a little distance between him. I do like to both of you being friends but can you, I don't know, not being alone together to much." he said while rubbing back of his head. He feel so guilty but he can't see her sister getting hurt again.

Akaashi is not the only one that want you to live like a normal girls do. Bokuto is the one who beg your mother to let you go to normal school as him. He feel useless when he can't take care of you when you're sick the other day. Because of his father hate to your mother and you, he can never went to see you when he staying at his father house. He feels like he failed to be a brother that he should be. He failed to protect you when you get kidnapped when you were little. He failed to protect you from seeing the argue between your parents. He failed to save you from suicide thoughts. 

" Can you please, not so close with him? Its for your own sake to."

Akaashi is the one that made you get in these situation. If only you not that close to him, you wont get beat up. If only you don't bumped into him and saw his beautiful dark-blue eyes. And get heart broken, knowing that its nearly impossible for a guy who doesn't feel to have any romantic feelings toward you to fall for you. 

" But if your thinking about confession to him, I don't think that he don't like you. Maybe he doesn't know how to recognize his feeling toward you. Maybe he denying that he has feelings toward you. Akaashi can be idiot sometimes to." 

" You giving me hope, Koutaro."  you look at your brother who his attention at you. You look at his sad eyes,  "If I confessed to him, would I be safe after that?" 

" I......can't guarantee you that."
