Nothing Special (Stereo Kicks/Reece Bibby/New Hope Club)

I've been meaning to ask you.

I woke up the next morning feeling extremely nervous about the day ahead. This was the day that everyone in the house was dreading. All the contestants were so close to the finals and so close to performing at Wembley Stadium singing their winners single, so whoever went home tonight would be absolutely deverstated.

I walked down stairs and it wasn't like all the other mornings, usually everyone was up, sitting around the table in the kitchen eating breakfast, talking and laughing; but today was different. No one apart from Fleur was in kitchen. "Morning sweetheart." Fleur smiled. "Morning Fleur, where is everybody?" I questioned. "Today is the day everyone has been dreading all week, usually on a Sunday everyones in their rooms, on twitter, tweeting about how they don't want their time in the competiton to come to an end." She laughed. I laughed too.

"So why are you down here then?" I wondered. "Because I like to go down to the gym and excerise and listen to music so it can take my mind off of things." She said, grabbing an apple and biting a chunk out of it. "Are you not nervous?" I asked, making a cup of tea. "I am really nervous, but I chose not to show it, its just easier." She smiled. "I'm gonna go down to the gym now, see you later." She smiled, walking off as I ate my breakfast. "Fleur?" I called after her. "Yeah." She said as she turned back. "You were amazing last night." I smiled. "Thank you, I'm glad you liked it." She said before she walked down to the gym.

I finished off my toast and made my way upstairs, I knocked on Stereo Kicks' door as I waited to see if anyone was up. "Come in." A northern accent spoke, making me realise that it was Reece. I gradually opened the door to be met with a chorus of Hello's and Hi's from all of the boys. I looked at Reece as I closed the door and smiled. I climbed onto the top bunk where Reece was laying and layed down beside him as I snuggled into his shoulder. "Fleur told me that this is a normal Sunday for you guys." I said. "Yeah it is but something doesn't feel right." Reece said, like he was confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked hm. "I've had a weird feeling since last night, it's like I know that we're going home." He simply said, looking upset. "Don't say that, you're going to be in the finals." I smiled, trying to reassure him. "Thank you." He smiled. "For what?" I asked, confused. "For always making me feel better." He smiled as he kissed my head and stroked my hair. I just smiled, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.

Later that day...

We all arrived at the studio about an hour ago, Me, Tia and Lauren were all currently having our make up done as we had already had our hair done. My hair was straightened, Tia's hair was curled and Lauren's was curled too. My makeup was very similar to the makeup I wore last night, Tia's was also natural and Lauren had the smokey eye effect. Tia was wearing a jump suit, I was wearing a creamy white skater dress and Lauren was also wearing a purple glittery dress.

Once our makeup was done, we said thank you to everyone and went to wait backstage as the show started in half an hour. "You look beautiful as always." Someone whispered in my ear as this mystery person then put their hands over my eyes. "Guess who?" He said. "Oh I have no idea, I wish it was Brad Simpson from The Vamps but it's probably just Reece." I smirked. I turned around and held Reece's hands. "Oh, I knew it was you." I smiled. "I'm sorry I'm not good enough." He said smirking but looking down, pretending he was upset. "You're more than good enough." I said lifting his chin up with my fingers as his eyes looked into mine.

"Millie?" Reece said shyly. "Reece?" I said copying him. "I've been meaning to erm... ask you something." He said looking into my eyes, searching for some sort of emotion. "Ok..." I said, feeling the butterflys in my stomach. Was he going to ask what I think he was going to ask? Don't get your hopes up Millie, he probably won't. " You are the most beautiful, talented, kind and thoughtful girl I have ever met. When I first saw you on the train, I needed to get to know you better, and I did. I know I'm only 16 and I know I haven't even know you for that long but Millie....I'm falling for you. Everyday I fall more and more for you and I can't stop falling and I don't want to stop falling. People say you can't help who you fall for and I'm can't help but fall for you. So Millie, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked grinning at me. "Reece...I would love to be your girlfriend." I smiled, crashing my lips together with Reece for a short but passionate kiss.

"YAAYY!!" Everyone screamed. I looked behind me and everyone...and I mean everyone from the rest of Stereo Kicks, Tia, Lauren, Andrea, Ben, Fleur, Louis, Cheryl, Simon and Mel were all standing behind me and Reece and had seen everything. "Congratulations!" Everyone shouted as the judges smiled and walked off to take their places.

I said good luck to Reece, and everyone else as I hugged him and watched him go on stage. Me and Tia stood nervously backstage as we waited for the results. One by one each act slowly got called out to say they were in the semi finals. "The first act through is.... Ben!" Dermot said. The crowd erupted in cheers. "The second act through to the semi finals is.... Fleur!" Noooo! This meant that either Lauren or Stereo Kicks were in the bottom two or even worse they were both in the bottom two. "The last act through to next week is....Andrea!" Oh my god! At this point everything just collapsed. It was Stereo Kicks against Lauren.

Tears formed in my eyes as I knew that for one of them, their X Factor journey was over. Something then popped in my mind, earlier Reece said he had a funny feeling that him and the boys were going home, I hope it was just a weird feeling. "After the break, it's Lauren against Stereo Kicks." Dermot said. The boys came off stage and we all cuddled in a massive group hug. "I told you I had a feeling." Reece said as tears also formed in his eyes. I had never seen Reece cry before because he said he didn't cry very often, so I knew how much he wanted this. I gave him a sympathetic look as they were called to the side of stage. I hugged him and Lauren and wished the rest of the boys luck.

I didn't want this to happen, this can't be happening but unfortunately it is. Lauren sang her song first and she was absolutely amazing! I had never heard her sing as well as she did up there, next was Stereo Kicks and they were incredible too! I couldn't call who would be going home, I didn't want either of them to be going home. They both deserved to be in the finals. Now it was judging time.

Louis obviously saved his own act and saved Stereo Kicks, surprisingly Mel also saved Stereo Kicks. Cheryl saved Lauren and so did Simon. I was very annoyed as Simon put Stereo Kicks together as a band but he saved Lauren but Lauren did sing very well. This meant that it went to deadlock. "The act with the fewest votes and is going home tonight is....Stereo Kicks." With those two words, tears spilled out of my eyes. Stereo Kicks are out of the competiton, this can't be happening.

I was so happy for Lauren but so sad for Stereo Kicks, Tia hugged me as I cried. The boys' best bits came on and all 8 boys cried. Reece looked over at me crying which made him look down...he came off of the stage and came running into my arms. "I'm so sorry." I cried into Reece shoulder, he only hugged me tighter.

I pulled away and wiped away the tears that fell from Reeces eyes. "This isn't the end of Stereo Kicks." I smiled and he smiled back. I congratulated Lauren and hugged her as they all went upstairs to go and do Xtra Factor where Stereo Kicks would say one last good bye.

Reece asked Millie to be his girlfriend! But unfortunately Stereo Kicks are out of the competiton.Oh and Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all have a great night/day. I'm so excited for 2015! I wish you all the best for 2015 and I can't wait to see what happens in the next 365 days with Stereo Kicks! I hope you enjoyed this chapter :)
