A Letter for a Dear Friend

A letter Sophronia sends Sidheag while she is overseas. Continuation after the third book, Waistcoats and Weaponry, before I realized there was going to be a fourth.

Dear Sidheag,
I dearly wish you are having a wonderful time overseas. Send the captain my regards. We all desperately miss you, Agatha most of all. She is now married to a lovely gentleman just as awkward as she. Dimity has, much to everyone's surprise, gone into the intelligence business. She is happily under the protection of Lord Akeldama, they do get along so wonderfully. I have kept my word to the dewan and have no regrets. Soap is making a wonderful werewolf so far, still as jolly as ever. Other than that it has been pretty quiet here. Or as quiet as it ever is for me. Have you and the captain gotten married yet? I do wish we could have been at the wedding, Dimity would have thought it such fun. Hope you're well.
