Emma's pov:
I run down after Hardin to see him standing there arms crossed while Elena's trying to shut the door on Damon. He pushes it back easily.
"So this troublemaker is allowed and I'm not? That's harsh, Elena." Damon pouts looking over Elena's head at Hardin. Elena spins and her eyes widens in horror.
"Emma, go back upstairs." She commands looking between Hardin and Damon.
"It's fine, Elena, they won't hurt you." I try to assure her walking past Hardin to her. "Don't intimidate my sister, Damon." I tell him.
"You're afraid of me. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess. Stefan finally fessed up." Damon smirks looking over at Elena.
"Trouble in paradise." Hardin purrs.
"You both stay away from us!" Elena says angrily.
"Hey, there's no need to be rude. We're just looking for Stefan." Hardin says strolling closer. Elena backs away instantly.
"So, where's your perfect little boyfriend, love?" He smirks staring at her. I raise my brows. I'll seriously kick him if he tries to compel my sister.
"You can't compel me." Elena says trying to keep a straight face. Hardin huffs a laugh. "I'm not compelling you." He says, his eyes going to her necklace. "I'm demanding you, to tell me."
"May I come in?" Damon rolls his eyes at the door. "Oh, wait. Of course I can. I've been invited." Damon grins dramatically and steps inside the house.
"We can cut to the chase if you want. I'm not gonna kill you right now. That wouldn't serve my greater agenda. So... Where's Stefan?" He asks darkly trying to intimidate us. I roll my eyes.
"He's out looking for Vicki." Elena says glaring at Damon. He walks closer to her, this time she doesn't step back.
"Don't look at me with those judgey little eyes." Damon warns her. "Girl's gonna thank me for what I did to her."
"Did you thank Katherine?" Elena fires back.
"Ahh. Rough." Hardin smirks.
"Got the whole life story, huh?" Damon says a small smile playing over his lips.
"I got enough."
"Oh, I doubt that." Damon drawls. Hardin snorts cutting in between. "Over with this prattling, Damon. We've a date with our brother." I stifle a laugh. Hardin winks at me.
Damon nods at him."Tell my brother I'm looking for him." Damon says looking at me and Elena and walks out of the door but turns abruptly.
"Oh tip for later, be careful who you invite in the house. Bye Ems." He waves at me and smirks at Elena walking out.
