The Present meets the Past (Boruto x Naruto Fanfiction) Being edited

Chapter ๑ . 1 (The complain)

He had everything, a life of luxury, people who loved him, anything he ever wanted really, but he was selfish. The absence of his father is his life, the one's love , attention and adoration that he craved the most.
The grass always seemed greener on the other side, didn't it?

Boruto's Prospective:
I had my hands tucked into my pocket, coming back from the hokages office after a mission. I watched by as happy children walked by holding the hand of their parents, a happy family consiting of a father.... At least some of them cared enough to pay attention to their children, I thought to myself. Sometimes I just desire a normal household, just like the ones I always see, is that too much to ask for? What he doesn't get is that, in middle of trying to keep the village and its people satisfied and content, what he doesn't realize is that he's hurting his own family.. Mom says she's okay with this, but is she really? You know, if I were in her position, I'd leave him for someone better,  someone who actually deserved her, my mother will always deserve the best.

In midst of my monologue, I seem to have lost my sense of surroundings because the next thing I knew, my butt made impact with the floor, I winced in pain, threading my fingers through my hair out of force of habit.

"Ouch, watch where you're going man." Boruto laughs, rubbing the back of his blonde hair, "sorry man, just had too much on my mind" he averted his eyes, Shikadai raises his eyebrows, concern suddenly taking over his expression, but considers it wouldn't be the best time to ask considering the surrounding and stuff. The raven offers his hand to the blonde still on the floor, Boruto takes Shikadai's hand into his own, grinning at his gesture, "thank you!" Shikadai stares at his blonde best friend in amusement, and then the rumbling sounds of two neglected stomachs are heard, they both look at each other, blushing.

"Ya wanna go get burgers from thunderburgers?" Boruto offers, but before he can get a response out of his raven friend, a voice beside him speaks, "I want in," both males jolt at the sudden noise coming out of nowhere, "what the heck!?"

A\N- so I decided to edit the chapter and boii when I read this chapter I cringed so hard like wtf is the plot I wish I could change it now I guess the last year immatured me really had terrible writing skill's well not like I don't have the worst writing skills now to but eh I'll improve eventually....well atleast I hope so anyways hope you enjoyed the chapter time to go edit the rest of them now........hopefully my hands and brain cell's survive this (2021)
