Harry stared at the celing of the bedroom he shared with the boys in Grimmauld Place. His mind raced and he couldn't get it to find the finish place. He sighed and sat up, hoping that maybe walking around Sirius' childhood home would somehow awaken the sleepliness he had been feeling for the past few days.
He moved his blanket off his body and tip toed out of the bedroom. He had just noticed how beautiful the house looked. The portrait that had been complaining earlier was quiet, yet you could hear soft breaths behind the black curtain.
Harry touched the railing of the staircase and walked down to the kitchen, which Harry felt was a place he would be able to think so that he could stop thinking. He wasn't prepared to see Sirius sitting at the table, a steaming mug in his hands.
Sirius looked up and smiled. "Harry. I didn't hear you get up." Sirius said as he sat up straighter. Harry shook his head and closed the kitchen door to sit next to Sirius. He noticed that the mug Sirius held was filled with coffee.
"I couldn't sleep." Sirius nodded ass if he understood. "Worried about your hearing in the morning?" Harry nodded. He was worried. He shouldn't be expelled at all. He was trying to save himself and his wretched cousin from dying.
"I geuss I was worried also. I couldn't get that fear from my head. If you were to be expelled then you would be at more risk of Voldemort getting to you. Though you would stay here with me." Sirius grabbed Harry's hand affectionately and it sent a shiver through Harry's body.
"I want you to know that whatever happens, I will also be here for you. No matter what. We can be a proper family." Harry's heart fell when he said a proper family. With how Harry was feeling, that wasn't a proper family.
"I don't want to be a proper family." Harry whispered. Sirius frowned. Harry shouldn't have said that but he did. It was out now. "Why?" Sirius asked. Harry's breath hitched.
"I don't see you as my father." Another frown. He hated hurting Sirius like this.
"I love you. More than I probably should." Harry whispered. Sirius leaned forward and kissed Harry, his larger hand over Harry's cheek. Harry closed his eyes and his hand reached up to hold Sirius' forearm of the arm that was holding his head.
Harry felt loved, something he hasn't felt ever. Sirius made a groaning noise and pulled away, turning from Harry. Harry touched Sirius' forearm.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked. Sirius ran and hand over his face. "We shouldn't have done that." Harry gaped at him in anger. "If you don't remember correctly, you kissed me first."
"You were the one being suggestive."
"I'll be more suggestive: kiss me again. You seemed to have enjoyed it and don't lie and say you didn't." Harry looked at him before Sirius turned back to him and kissed him again, only harder.
Harry moaned gently before Sirius pulled away. "Come with me." Harry stood when Sirius did and followed him up the stairs to the bedroom at the end of the hallway. Sirius opened it and revealed the master bedroom, with a beige and black bed with throw pillows of the same color scheme.
Harry smiled at the beautiful bedroom. He felt Sirius grab his hand and pull him to the bed. He gasped when he was thrown on the bed and Sirius climbed on top, kissing his neck. Harry threaded his fingers through the wavy long brown locks.
Sirius lifted his head and smiled down at Harry. "I love you." Sirius whispered. Harry smiled. "I love you too."

Harry opened his eyes at the shaking of his body. He looked to see Sirius getting dressed. He sat up and put his glasses back on. "Come on love, your hearing is in a few hours. You have to get dressed and get going soon." Harry nodded and began getting dressed.
He had his brown suit jacket over his arm with a blue button down shirt on. He put the jacket over the stairs and went into the kitchen. "Good Morning darling." Mrs. Weasley said with a smile as she set a plate of eggs and bacon with a cup of pumpkin juice in front of Harry as he sat down.
"Morning." Harry said as he began to eat. "Where did you go last night? I was looking for you everywhere." Ron asked as he entered the kitchen. "I couldn't sleep. Slept in another room." Harry said as he ate a piece of his bacon.
"Possibly because of your snoring Ron. You could wake the dead." George joked. Harry chuckled then smiled as Sirius walked in, looking fresh. He kissed Molly's cheek.
"Good morning everyone." He greeted. Sirius glanced at Harry and Harry smiled, remembering their shared night. Sirius crossed the room to take the seat at the head of the table, laying his hand on Harry's shoulder.
"Now Harry, remember to stay calm. The Minister is a fool and can't possibly have any case against you. You were only defending yourself." Sirius said. Harry nodded, still not sure that he would get off so easily.
"Well, Harry, we better be off." Arthur said. Harry and Sirius stood. "I'll wish you off." Sirius said as they walked to the front door. "I'll be right there." Harry told Arthur. Arthur nodded and walked out the front door, leaving Sirius and Harry alone.
Sirius kissed Harry gently. Harry smiled into the kiss, his hands resting on Sirius' forearms ass the man's hands were on his face. Once they parted, Sirius pressed a kiss to his forehead.
"Everything will be alright my love. And if they aren't-"
"I know that I can stay with you." Sirius smiled and kissed Harry again before pulling away. "You better go. Before I drag you up to my bedroom and have my way with you again." Harry chuckled before slipping his suit jacket on.
"If I get off, you'll reward me right?" Sirius chuckled and nodded, opening the door. "If you get off." Harry smiled and walked out the door.
