Meaning to me
Over all for me this song is a personification of anxiety. We fear the things we don't know. To me this song really expresses this even with the title, "Into the Unknown" really describes this well since it talks about going into something unknown. Very often people fear the things that are unknown to them because they don't know what the results will be.
Sometimes all we need to get rid of the fear of something unknown is to have an adventure, or to just do something spontaneous. Sometimes to be able to do things like that we need a small push from either someone or something in our lives. Sometimes new and unknown things are good because they bring change, and even though they can be for the better or for the worse change is still good.
There are always going to be things we don't know and that's okay. No one person can know everything and everyone. Sometimes it's good to leave the unknown as it is, but sometimes it's better to just jump into it, find out more, and see what happens. If no one ever looked into things that were unknown there would never be any new discoveries or ideas, and life would be pretty boring with nothing new ever happening. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and try something new no matter how scary it may be.
