New Girl

Chapter 1

"I packed my last box Daryl!" Nicole yelled from in her now empty room.

Daryl came into his little sister's room, "You ready?" he sighed.

Nicole let out a sad sigh, "Whatever let's just go... But first I'd like to say goodbye to Carl." Nicole left her room and went outside, finding Carl sitting on the steps. Nicole sat down next to him, "Hey, Carl can we talk?" she forced out.

Carl looked at his best friend, "Yeah, sure." he half smiled.

"Me and my brother are moving." Nicole told Carl, trying not to cry.

Carl wiped his friend's falling tears, "whoa it's okay Nicole I'm actually moving too" he smiled.

Nicole looked at Carl, "Really? Where!?" Nicole asked, shocked.

"Queens, New York." Carl smiled.

"Really?! That's great!" Nicole manged to cheer up. "But.. When were you going to tell me??" she asked moving hair out of her face.

"Surprise?" Carl said, shrugging his shoulders.

Nicole rolled her eyes and laughed a little.

Daryl came out, "Alright time to go if we are going to make our flight." he told his sister.

"Carl is actually going with us" Nicole laughed. "I don't know why he didn't tell me before hand." she shrugged.

Carl smiled.

"Alright, well let's go girl" Daryl spoke. "Can't be late."

Nicole playfully pulled Carl by the wrist, "come on let's go!!" she shrieked with excitement.

Nicole, Daryl, and Carl arrived at the airport and got on their plane. "So what made you want to move to Queens?" Nicole questioned Carl.

"I met this beautiful girl named Megan online and we've been talking for some time now and I really love her so her I are moving to New York for her." Carl smiled big.

"Aww that's so sweet!" Nicole hugged her best friend.

Daryl chuckled at how cute that was. "Crazy kids" he said to himself.

The plane landed after four hours. Daryl lightly shook Carl and Nicole so they'd wake up from their nap, "We're here." he said softly. The three of them got off the plane and they checked into the nearest hotel for the night.

"It's nice here" Nicole smiled.

"Yeah it is" Carl yawned and drifted off to sleep.

Nicole yawned, "Goodnight.." not really caring at the moment who heard her and fell asleep. Daryl went to bed soon after, he wanted to make sure both his sister and Carl were good and asleep before he went to sleep. He was just protective.
