her petals feel like silk as you rub
them in between your finger tips
gently.
they glisten from the morning dew
reflecting the sunlight in their drops.
shimmering, enticing.
vibrant colors accentuate her silhouette; like a siren's song, creatures are drawn to her.
standing proudly with her roots firmly planted in her ground.
letting the sun nourish and replenish
her body
and the rain quench her thirst.
blooming at just the right time for nature to stop and admire her
beauty.
