I Found You

Chapter 4

"Why don't we watch a scary movie?" Talia suggested. Ugh, she knew I HATED scary movies so much.

"Cool? How about paranormal activity?" Ashton said excited while I groaned.

"Are you to scared Tori?" Talia asked, smirking.

"I'm fine." I responded while Michael put in the DVD.

10 minutes into the movie I noticed I was scooting closer and closer to Luke on the other side of the couch. All of a sudden a face came out of no where, scaring me to death I unconsciously cuddled my head into Luke while screaming, looking away from the screen.

I heard tiny giggles come from the other side to see Ashton and Talia taunting me. Michael was just watching the movie.

"Are you OK?" Luke asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Y...ya...ya I'm f...fine."

Luke chuckled and wrap his arms around me. As soon as did this, I felt my insides churn with butterflies all over.

What was this boy doing to me?

When the screen went black, signaling the movie was over, I was cuddled in a ball, most likely scarred for life.

"I absolutely hate all of you!!" I yelled.

"Awe it's okay babe." Michael teased, winking at me. I groaned, my cheeks tomato red from embarrassment.

"Why don't we play 20 questions?" Luke suggested.

Everybody responded with OK's and sat in a circle.

"Okay, Tori first. Favorite color?" Michael asked.

"Blue."

We went around the circle, everyone asking me questions  until two questions were left.

"Favorite animal?" Ashton asked.

"OMG I LOVE penguins!"

Ashton, Michael and Talia started laughing while Luke's cheeks heated.

"Am I missing something?"

"Luke is absolutely obsessed with penguins." Ashton told me between fits of laughter.

"He even has a stuffed animal." Michael giggled while telling me.

"What do you guys wanna do next?" Luke asked, trying to change the subject.

"Wait we still have one question left....do you have a boyfriend?" Michael smirked.

I felt my cheeks being set on fire, but also sadnesses washing over me. I looked over to Talia and she knew what we had to do.

"Umm, no I don't, but we have to go. Sorry." I said before grabbing my stuff and running to the door, but not before taking a glance a Luke, it was obvious he was worried about me. I'm fine, I mouthed to him and walked out the door, faintly hearing Talia tell them we'll see them soon and stuff.

I shut the car door and started to sob, waiting for Talia as she excited the house and walked to the car.

I didn't want to think about him.

He hurt me.

He destroyed me.

He never even cared.

"Vic, I'll drive you home OK?"

Talia only called me Vic when she was worried about me.

"Fine." I whispered.

"I know it might seem too early, but if you and Luke ever go on, you know he'd never do that."

"I know." I sighed while leaning my head against the window. We were having such a great time and I ruined it. I got over emotional and stupid. They all must think I'm some clingy sob story. I tried to clear my mind of all thoughts, feeling sleep take me over and wrap me in it's blanket.

I'm excited for this story my other ones weren't that good but I have hope for this.
