Your path was exceptionally clear as you walked down the familiar, dimly lit street in Hosu City. You scooted over to a line marked on the road and put your arms out as you walked across it like a tightrope.
"Even in the dark I still know where i'm going..." you mumbled to myself.
Your (e/c) eyes lit up as you saw colors spilling out of a tall glass window.
"But how could I ever forget the way to my faaaavorite T.V. Shop?!" you squealed a bit too loudly.
You skipped your way up to the familiar store and stopped right in the center of the large glass pane. You placed your gloved hands up against the glass and watched the center T.V. while a news anchor spoke about the Hero Killer: Stain. Your eyes glimmered and you couldn't help the smile that started to form on your full lips.
"Wow" you managed to mumble in awe.
I might admire Stainy a little TOO much... oh well
Its just that his idea for a new world stuck with you the first time you heard about it. Although it was easy to shift your ideals due to your past and how you were treated by the people around you. Constantly harassed by others for having 'a villains quirk'. Not to mention your shitty home life as a kid. Hated by your own parents, called a disgrace everyday... Yet you still looked up to pro heroes such as All Might and Endeavor. You even admired all the new upcoming heroes, Thinking to yourself all the time, I just have to get through all of this a little longer then I'll become a pro and help all the kids like me. The ones who need a voice. But after a certain point you knew despite what you told yourself, it would never happen. The relentless torture by your peers and your own family left you scarred. Although none of it mattered to you anymore. Because you discovered Stain. Now you can't help but despise the fakes who call themselves heroes... the ones that are only in it for the fame and fortune. Those that only care about being at the top... you instinctively tightened your hands into fists against the glass. Then after hearing the words being spoke about your idol on the small television, you couldn't take it anymore.
I can't listen to this insolent woman speak bad about Stainy anymore anyway. I'll just leave
"I wish I could reach through the glass to turn down the volume and just look at your pictures..." you muttered with a visible pout.
You pushed your body away from the glass with your still balled up fists. And you started to walk back to your place in a steady rhythm, moving your hips to the tune you hummed, thinking of your current situation.
You lived secluded from most people for four years. You had to after the incident.
The events of that day were burned into your memory forever, not that thats a bad thing. If you ever make a friend it would be an interesting story to tell them... you started to smile just thinking about the possibility of a friend in the future. But then, you got pulled from your thoughts as you felt another presence in the air. You slowed down your pace but kept humming to see if they would pass by, but even after a full minute, the person didn't. You huffed, then jumped in place 180 degrees. With bent knees and finger guns You pointed at your suitor and jokingly yelled "Gotchya!" He stopped walking, his head was facing down and his hands were in his pockets, therefore you could only see his tousled black hair. You couldn't tell if he was surprised or not, but you could tell he wasn't worried about you catching him red handed.
Now a lot of other people might find the situation you're in to be scary, but you found it exciting.
"C'mon! Did I surprise you?" You asked with a teasing tone.
"Nah, something about you made me assume you might catch on..." He raised his head to look at you. You could see his grin despite the lack of light, and the six feet that separated your bodies.
