Our private jet doesn't have a pilot who can fly it kaya kailangan naming sa airport ni Mom sumakay.
"Eros, Lolo is okay right?"
"He is. Masamang damo si Lolo. Matagal mamatay 'yun." He said. That's what Lolo always tells us.
"Lolo will be very proud of you." I smiled at him.
"Erin, I'm sorry," he whispered and leaned his head on my shoulder.
"Why are you sorry?"
"Ewan. Sorry sa sinabi ni Mom?"
"Baliw. I'm used to it. Tsaka deserve mo 'yun. You did well. Pati si Rayi."
"We hope you have enjoyed the in-flight entertainment. We are now preparing to land. The bar is closed and we will soon collect your headset. May I remind you to complete your arrival and immigration documentation by the time we arrive." Announcement ng pilot.
"Take-off na." Eros said.
"Ladies & Gentlemen, now we're approaching New York where the local time is 10:00 AM. At this stage you should be in your seat with your seatbelt firmly, fastened. Personal television screens, footrests and seat tables must be stowed away and all hand luggage stored either in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front. Please ensure all electronic devices including laptop computers and computer games are turned off. In behalf of FlyPacific, I'm your Captain Joel Lastimosa. We're looking forward for more flights with you in the near future."
"I'm sorry you had to come here.
"No, Pa. Mabuti lang na andito kami." Dad said.
Mabuti nalang at naa-appreciate niya sila.
"Lo, how are you feeling?" I finally had the urge to speak.
"I'm good. Kaya ko na ulit sumayaw, apo. Pwede pa akong maging-stuntman." He joked.
"Be well, Lolo." I said as I tear up.
"Nako, iyakin talaga ng apo ko, oh. Bakit? Gusto mo ba ikaw nalang stuntman?" He laughed.
"Lolo, I have the highest GPA sa lahat ng ka-batch ko." I said instead.
"Mahusay ka talaga. You're amazing. I'm proud of you." Lolo smiled.
"Are you really proud of me?" I cried even more.
"Oo naman. Sabi ko nga sa'yo, I'm always proud of you. And above all, you have a really pure heart."
"Lolo, do you think proud sakin si Mommy at Daddy?" I sobbed.
"They are, Erin."
Pero Lo, what does it feel na maging favorite? Gusto ko lang naman po maramdaman, eh."
