Meeting Mr Harding

Zara Pov

I could hear my alarm going off like crazy and i wanted to ignore but today i couldn't as it was the first day back to school or in my case bully fest after Summer Break.

I quickly got up showered then got changed into my school uniform which was a blue dress that sat just above my knees. Then i proceeded to do my hair into a messy bun followed by my teeth.

I was about to put what i needed in my bag when my phone went off. i reached over to where it was on the charged and opened it to see a text from my only friend Lucy "Can't wait to see you Zig" I smiled at the nickname she had for me i quickly replied "You too Luc". After that I packed my bag before going downstairs to eat breakfast. I sat down between my dad and my older brother Brennan. 

Soon breakfast was over and the time i had dreaded now arrived to go to school. Thankfully my dad had oftened to drive me today to which i was grateful for. I grabbed my bag and phone before following my dad out the door.

"If you need me just call and i will come and get you sweetie" my dad Flynn said as he drove me to school he could tell i was nervous. I smiled and nodded i was so thankful that i had a protective dad. Soon enough dad parked the car and i reached over and gave him a hug "I love you dad" i said as he hugged back with the same reply

I then got out of the car and walked towards the gate hoping to not be spotted but i was my Danni the school queen bee "Loser i thought you would leave" This upset me but i just ignored her and walked away from her trying my best to not cry.

I arrived at my locker dumping everything in before heading towards the English classroom. Thankfully Lucy was in this class with me i just hoped Danni wasn't. I walked towards the classroom and saw many students inside Lucy and Danni included. Everyone was talking in their groups as the teacher hadn't arrived yet. I ran over and hugged Lucy "I missed you" She held me tightly and whispered "You too"

Lucy and i were sitting down talking when the door opened again and everyone turned around most of the girls were fixing their hair as they wanted to get whoever this guy was attention. I looked at him quickly but long enough to see he had brown hair was 6.3 from the looks of it very fit and had blue eyes.

He walked to the front of the class and everyone attention was drawn to him mine included when he spoke up "I'm Mr Harding and i will be teaching you senior English this year" 

All the class showed him a smile when Danni tossed me a note I undid it and read it. "He is mine so back off" This annoyed me as i barely looked at him i put my head down on my desk not even listening right now i could not care less what he was saying.

Soon enough the hour was over i didn't even realized until i heard everyone walking out. I went to do the same when i heard him spoke "Zara do you have a minute" I just nodded before walking over to his desk.

He looked at me before putting his hand out for me to shake "I'm Mr Harding i noticed you didn't come out for a formal meeting i had to ask Lucy who you were" I was shocked usually teachers didn't care. I showed him a smile and shook his hand " Zara. Zara Benoist" We stopped shaking hand after a second and then he looked at me "Are you ok? You seem in your own world today" I did the usual thing i would do lie "Yeah totally fine" He looked at me i didn't think he believed me but he didn't press on it "Well if you need to talk I'm here" I nodded as i showed him a small smile "Thank you" i replied before walking out of the classroom.

I was thinking as i walked how it was nice for him to check on me as usually teachers didn't care and it was his first day maybe for once i had a decent teacher and i couldn't help but smile at the thought that maybe i did
