Nathan and Sam One Shot

*Sam's POV*

I was helping the rest of the games crew set up for the first messy game. We were dumping chicken feed and other nasty gooey substances into buckets and putting them around the field for the campers. I put a bucket of smelly goo on the grass and as I stood I was wrapped in a big hug.

I giggled and turned around, "Oh hey it's my best friend, Mr. Nathan Sykes!" I exclaimed slipping my arms around him.

"Where've you been mister? When I suggested that you take a break from the exciting, hollywood life and join me at this summer camp I wanted you to actually be with me." I said with a laugh.

"Agh I know, I'm sorry babe! I started writing a new song and the ideas just kept coming!" He explained laughing his adorable laugh.

"Well I guess I can forgive you then... but only because you're my favorite person." I said grinning up at him.

He laughed, "Funny story... you're my favorite person too!" He said pinching the tip of my nose between his middle and pointer finger.

I laughed and pulled away from him. He always did that to my nose and it always made me like him even more. He was perfect with his adorable accent and fantastic good looks.

"The counselors are bringing the kids down, stop flirting and go stand at whatever station you're supposed to be at." The director teased.

"Lucy, they aren't flirting... they're best friends remember?" Josh said laughing and looking over at us.

Nathan laughed and slung his arm around my shoulders, "Don't listen to them Samantha, they're just jealous of our friendship." He said with a wink.  

I laughed and nodded. He didn't know it, but I was in love with him. Everytime he hugged me, winked at me, grinned at me, looked at me, or even talked to me made me love him more. The worst part was that he had no idea and he didn't feel the same way.

We separated and went off to supervise the kids. I kept glancing over at him and he was always looking my way. Everytime he met my gaze with one of his famous, adorable grins.  

I couldn't get over him. He was everywhere.

An hour later we were pulling out more buckets full of yucky stuff for the final game. It was pretty much just a free-for-all fight. After I put all of my buckets down I filled a cup with chicken feed and backed away from the group of kids. I scanned the area in front of me for Nathan, but I couldn't see him anywhere. I backed up into a warm chest and I turned around.

"Nathan!" I exclaimed happily.

I made sure to keep the cup behind my back.

"Where you looking for me?" He asked grinning.

"Yes! I have a secret to tell you!" I said leaning closer.

"Yeah? What is it?" He asked leaning all the way forward so that my lips were touching his ear.

"It's nothing really.." I whispered. "Just.. THIS!"

I dumped the cup all over his perfect hair. He pulled away from me and grinned as it dripped down his head and chest.

"I actually had a secret for you Sam." He said leaning close again.

I glanced at his hands, they were empty so I was safe. I leaned forward so his lips were on my ear.

"Just remember, payback's a bitch." He whispered before cracking two eggs on my head.

"NATHAN!" I squealed and tried to pull it out of my hair.

He ran away laughing, "Come and get me babe!" He called.

I spent the next 20 minutes chasing him around the field and being chased by him.

Eventually we called it a truce and went up the hill to go down the slip'n'slide together. It was covered in baby oil and baby shampoo so it was ridiculously slippery. It was also a very effective way to get clean.

After I'd gone down it a few times I sat down on the grass at the top of the hill. Josh sat beside me and put his arm around me. I groaned inwardly, everytime Nathan wasn't at my side Josh would flirt with me.

"Hey there beautiful." He grinned.

"Hey Josh." I smiled.

Nathan was just about to take his turn on the slip'n'slide when he glanced at me. I smiled and waved at him and he grinned back but gave Josh a cold look. After a few more agonizing minutes of Josh going on and on about random things I stood up.  

"I'm going to go change, I'll be right back." I said quickly walking away.

I walked in the darkness for a little while until I came up to the cabin that I was staying in. Instead of going inside I stood in front of it and looked up at the moon. Someone's arms slipped around my waist from behind and I groaned.

"Josh, I told you yesterday... I like someone else!" I exclaimed turning around.

Nathan's green eyes were looking down at me. "Oh thank God it's you." I said sighing and relaxing in his arms.

"You like someone?" He asked.

"Uhm yeah, I've known him since forever." I said looking down at his chest.

"Is this guy by any chance me?" He asked.

I bit my lip, met his gaze and nodded. He grinned, took my hand and pulled me to the side of the cabin.

"Funny story gorgeous, I like you too." He said before pushing me up against the wall and kissing me deeply. His kiss made my heart explode. It was amazing.

He pulled away and grinned at me. "I couldn't handle being out there with you and not kissing you especially with Josh hanging on your arm. You still managed to look adorable with all of that nasty goop all over you. I've liked you for years Sam." He said breathing heavily.

My jaw dropped, I had no idea that he felt the same way. I grinned and slid my hands onto his slippery rock hard chest and abs. The next month at this camp was going to be incredible.

My thoughts were confirmed when he began to kiss down my neck and across my slippery bare shoulders.

"I'm so glad you came to camp Mr. Sykes." I breathed leaning my head back against the wall.

He lifted his head and looked into my eyes, "I'm glad I came too beautiful." He said and continued kissing me.

I really hope you liked it Sam! I know it was long and it took a while to get to the good stuff but... i hope you thought it was cute(': xx
