I woke up.... I don't like how school is starting and quarantine is ending.

I went to take a shower and changed into my uniform. The faint laundry detergent scent on my uniform smells strangely good.

I ate my lunch that my grandma made. She's an excellent cook. She prepared my favorite dishes today, stir fried shrimp and chicken soup. I gobbled up everything quickly.

After eating, I'm waiting for my school bus to come. I want to walk to school but my grandparents won't let me.

The bus came after I waited for a while. I got into the bus and picked a window seat. The air conditioning is working today. I also like how the bus is also quite empty, other than me there are another 4 more people. I stared at the window as the bus pulled up into the school.

I walked off the bus as a gust of warm air blew right through me. I wish our school will install air conditioning.

I walked right into the school hall to where my classmates are. I saw my best friend Carol there. We're both really excited to meet each other after waiting for 4+ months.

We talked about a really interesting topic. She finally listened to me today.
We talked for awhile. Then we parted ways into our classes. It feels good to talk to my best friend in real life again.

The teacher will assign seats again for life skills class, I found out I'll be sitting next to my friend Nelly for it. I'm really elated. At least I'm with someone I know.

I suddenly had the urge to go to the bathroom, so I went out.
I was walking through hall 2 near the tortoise pond to the bathroom. The water was crystal clear and the weather now is cloudy with a cool breeze of wind, which I like. I like those tortoises.

Suddenly, it started pouring. I quickly walked into the bathroom.
After I'm done, the rain had stopped a little but the floor is really wet and slippery.

But I made the worst decision which is to run back to class because the teacher is gonna be suspicious if I'm out too long.
I then suddenly slipped and fell on my back. *Backbone has left the chat*

I was stunned and spaced out for a sec. Then a hand reached out. I took the hand and got up. It was a guy. He's obviously a senior judging by his name tag colour. I don't know the guy at all, but he's kinda good-looking.

I thanked the guy. He smiled and said your welcome and bade goodbye to me. Like Im aware that I seem shallow, but he's nice.

Fast forward to us going back to our homeroom. We got to pick seats and my friend and I managed to get the best seats. Like I get to sit right beside my friends yet the classmates that I want to avoid are far away and I won't notice them. Seriously, this school day is getting unexpectedly good.

On the last period, which is arts, my arts teacher praised me on my floor plan. Im interested to be an architect and this seriously gave me more motivation to do so. It started raining again, but I like the cool breeze. Plus, the rain sounds sound really relaxing. Me and Nelly plus two other girls were having a great conversation 😁.

The bell rang and it's time to go home. Everyone packed their stuff and went out. Me and Nelly bade goodbye to each other and parted ways.

The rain had stopped, and I saw Carol waiting for me. We walked to the school gate and saw a beautiful rainbow. I like how beautiful the rainbow is. We reached the gate and parted ways. My first day of school since quarantine has been a really really great start, absolutely no conflict nor drama plus stress. Just a carefree, beautiful day. I am super grateful for this.
