Chapter 11: For A Bit

I hated having to ruin the moment but I couldn't stay for long, I would be interfering with hiccups schedule and his dad wouldn't be happy.
"Hiccup?"
"Yes Jack?"
"Well, I sorta have to go. I mean, your father wouldn't be so happy.."
"Oh, right. Well, thank you so much for everything!" And he hugs my tightly, his arms around me, pulling me close. He was the cutest thing ever. I hugged him back, smiling slightly at his feelings towards me. I put my finger under his chin, lifting it so he made eye-contact with me.
"Remember that I live forever, and I'll always be here." And with a small movement, I kissed him, again.
I didn't want to let go, not at all.. Hiccup kissed me back, slowly and deeply.
I almost cried, it's been forever since anyone has loved me, or even said it to me. My eyes teared up but I fought them back, I've never cried, we'll ever since I became a guardian I haven't.
The kiss broke ever so slowly, only inches separating from us.
Hiccup whispered, looking into my eyes, "Maybe you could stay for a little bit..." And he bit his lower lip nervously, so damn cute still.
Glancing up at the sky, I noticed it was beginning to look like night. I smiled and looked back to him "If you insist." I wasn't going to fight back, it was Valentine's Day, the first time in forever since someone loved me, and plus I wanted to stay too. hiccup walked over to toothless "come on boy, lets go home."
I smirked and declared "Race ya!" Grabbing my staff and jumping in the air, flying with the wing.
"Oh you're on!" Hiccup said, jumping on toothless and flying after me.
Toothless and hiccup caught up to me and I smiled and then I flew above them. Looking down at them I saw hiccup glancing up at me.
I flew down closer to them, still above them. Hiccup then started back to focusing on what was in front of him.
I then sat down on toothless, sitting behind the young Viking. I finally did what I've been wanting for a while, I wrapped my arms around his waist, holding onto him close.
Hiccup glanced over his shoulder at me and smiled, whispering "Jack.."
I closed my eyes, resting my head on his shoulder, then whispering back "Hiccup."
We flew steady though the nighttime air, cool yet warm. It felt pretty nice, though I was always cold.
We finally arrived at berk, landing in the middle of the village.
