-----------------------------------------Chapter 27: Airport Confusions
J E R E M Y (Jeremy's P.O.V.)
"The gate is this way!"
"No the gate is this way Jeremy. I know what gate my dad is supposed to come from!" She yelled frustrated.
We had all left the house at 5:30 in the morning and let me tell you, none of us were morning people.
"I'm telling you Lillian. The gate's this way. Trust me!" She glared at me and turned her body, making her way to the gate she thought her dad was going to come from.
Brittany ran after her sister and Tyler stood next to me, shaking his head.
"Women!" He mumbled. I chuckled and we both ran to catch up with the two ladies.
"I'm telling you Lillian, the gate's that way. Fine! Don't listen to me." I grumbled.
On our way here, we wanted to grab some coffee and some food for Brittany and Tyler. But no café was open.
I slumped down on one chair and Tyler sat next to me. Brittany sat next to Tyler and they shut their eyes.
Lillian on the other hand, was eagerly waiting at the gate for her dad to arrive.
I shut my eyes and slumped even deeper inside the hard chair.
*-*
"Flight 402 has arrived. All waiting members should stay behind the line for their awaiting members. Thank you!" My eyes slowly opened to notice Tyler, Brittany, and Lillian sleeping on the chairs.
I took out my phone and my eyes nearly popped out of their socket.
"Lillian, get up! It's 4:27." I yelled. Her eyes opened up and she closed them again.
"Lillian, what the hell! Get up." I grabbed onto her arm and lifted her up.
"Gosh Jeremy. Let me sleep!" She mumbled into my chest.
"You can't sleep. It's 4:27! We missed your dad's flight." She slowly lifted her head and looked at me.
"What?" She whispered lowly.
"What the heck? Oh my god! Tyler, Brittany, get up!" She screamed.
I slowly picked up Tyler in one arm and picked up Brittany in the other.
Lillian ran towards the receptionist desk and frantically asked, "Was there any flight that had landed at 6:30 in the morning?"
"Why?" She raised an eyebrow at Lillian. Her eyes slowly trailed to me and she batted her eyelashes, twirling a strand of hair.
I just gave an awkward smile back.
"Stop batting those fake eyelashes at my boyfriend and answer the damn question!" Lillian growled. I raised my eyebrows at her outburst and the receptionist looked at her like she was crazy.
