That idiot. "What is it this time..." I groaned, reaching for my phone. As I grasped it, "4:38 AM" flashed brightly on my screen, and the words "missed call from Shoyo Hinata" appeared as well. I pressed the home button of my phone and called him back.

"...Hey." Hinata sounded like he was crying. what for?

"What're you doing up this early." I grumbled, putting on a jacket, and sneakers. The tone of his voice... I've heard it before. It's familiar. I got out of my house in an instant. How many times has this happened... Countless, I'm sure.

"w-well... i'm up here." he sniffed. the pain in his voice.. I hear it well. My heart breaks just a little when I hear it.

"i'm coming over. don't move." I hung up, usually when this happens, I would walk over to where Hinata was leisurely. This time, I found myself running, "Haah.. Huuhh..." I gasped short breaths of air.

I kept running until I was finally here. I slammed the doors open. Karasuno Highschool's rooftop.

Standing there was Hinata, looking at me with those dumb gleaming eyes of his, followed by a waterfall of tears streaming down his face. I could see a soft smile appear from him.

"Don't."

This happened before. Yet, this was the only time I ran to him. Something felt different.

Hinata and I started dating a few months ago. Everything was normal up until these past few weeks. Hinata's been attempting to commit suicide lately. And when he does, he makes sure that no one else would be awake except me, he would call me and divulged that he was at it again.

he could have called anyone, but he called me.

I don't understand why he would call me, though. Is he wanting me to prevent him from jumping? Whatever the reason was, I would still end up being there with him.

The first time this happened, I was clueless of what he intended on doing on top of the rooftop. I didn't understand what was going on, because I never thought Hinata was this miserable enough to end his own life.

He could have jumped while I was yelling at him. but he didn't. for some reason, he would get angry at me. I couldn't pin point why. He was depressed just one minute ago and now he was there, yelling at me back.
