Year 2023

After Ever Happy movie was a success.

Hero and Josephine gained more recognition because of their extraordinary talent of bringing Hardin and Tessa to life, they were also invited to various tv shows together with Anna to promote the movie.

This is the last book of the After Series meaning this is their last movie together. It will take awhile before they see each other again since Josephine decided to stay in L.A. for easy access to her job while Hero decided to go back home to England.

"This is the last day, Hero. You really should tell her now about your feelings. We're not blind, every people on set even the After fans knows that you two have feelings for each other" Said Jamie who happens to be his long-time agent

'Last Day' Hero thought to himself

"For the past five years, you two never dated anyone or tried to meet another man/woman who could be potential partners. Are you not tired of keeping those feelings? It will only grow as time passes by" she added looking at him like a concerned mother

Well she is like a second mother to him, Hero is always grateful for everything she has done for him.

They are currently in his hotel room balcony in L.A. discussing movie offers when Jamie diverted the topic to Jo. He drew leisurely on his cig and puffed out before looking at Jamie.

"Its not that easy, when my career was just starting I chose it above anything else. I have no time for relationships and even without saying it I knew that Jo and I were on the same page no matter how strong my feelings for her"

"Nothing is easy, Hero. Especially love, its the most complicated thing in the world. Its the thing that even the smartest people can not fully comprehend what it truly means." Jamie reminded him

"I admit that I had reservations about committing into a relationship especially with my co-star but everytime I return to England, I always have this unexplanaible feeling of longingness and I always end up face-timing her just to see her smile and hear her laugh everytime I tell her funny stories." Hero chuckled lightly reminiscing how he spends most of the day on his phone talking to Jo when he's at home "But..." Hero hesitated but Jamie caress his back as if encouraging him to talk "What about my career Jamie?"

"What about it?" Jamie asked with a confused look on her face

"Jamie my life is in England, I took a lot of acting jobs there. Meaning I'll be staying there and won't be able to see her for a long tine. What if she wants a relationship with me? What if Long Distance Relationship doesn't work out?" Hero said frantically

Jamie gave Hero a pointed look before saying "How about you let go of the 'What ifs' and just tell her how you feel. If she accepts your love and she give hers as well, then that's the time you two should decide whether to go further into a relationship or not"

"You can choose her too, Hero. You can choose Her and your career."

Hero didn't say anything nor look back at Jamie when she left his room. He continue looking at the sunset until its light completely diminish.

When Jamie left his room an hour ago after their talk. Hero remained seated on the edge of his bed staring at the blank wall.

Thinking.

Unsure of what to do, he stood up and walk towards the bathroom, he stood in front of the sink. After washing his face, he remain standing looking at his reflection on the mirror and thought

'Should I go to her right now or not?' Minutes after inner battles with himself, his phoned beeped someone send him a message.

Its Anna. She's inviting all of the casts and movie crews to dinner in 30 minutes. She also send him the name and location of the restaurant
