Chapter 4 Plans and questions

After Kazuichi left Sonia's house went back to his. Average night on the house he had to fix some cars for his father shop and when he was done he just threw himself into his bed. There was no way he would eat that night, he tried taking a shower but the water was cut off, he stinked of motor oil, the only chance he had to shower now was if he was at his dorm, but his father didn't let him sleep there. Maybe because it was there where most his friends were or maybe because he was the only one who did anything at home.

I guess I gotta wake up extra early, tomorrow.

Kazuichi thought to himself.

What time is it anyways?

He looked at his phone.

Fuck it's already 5 am? I guess I gotta get moving if I want to take a shower and don't get late.

He got up changed clothes, as the ones he was wearing were dirty by the motor oil, packed his bag and went to the kitchen. As he went to the kitchen his father was passed out on the couch as normal, as they didn't have that much food, Kazuichi just grabbed a juice box he kept hidden and some money that was also hidden and began walking to school. He got to school and surprisingly, in his class dorms, his supposed new friend was awake.

Gundham: What are you doing here so early mortal?- Kazuichi nearly jumped when he heard those words, turning away from his dorm door.

It was wierd for Gundham to see Kazuichi there, especially so early, since he made part of the group who didn't slept in the school. That group? It was made of 4 people mainly, Sonia, since she was a princess and needed more protection, Fuyahiko and Peko since they are part of the Yakuza and, of course, Kazuichi, thanks to his father.

Kazuichi: You don't even say hello?

Gundham: Oh I apologise, it is kinda rude.

Kazuichi: Uhm that's wierd....

Gundham: Excuse me mortal?

Kazuichi: I think I never heard you apologise.- he said confused-I don't think nobody as apologized to me whitout knowing about my facade- he muttered barely audibly.

Gundham: That is ood.... But you still haven't answered my question.

Kazuichi: Well I needed to take a shower but there was a pipe burst in my street so we don't have water at home.

It was a pretty believable lie and it was sure better than spilling the beans on why would his father would cut the water.

Gundham: That explains the impossible smell of oil.

Kazuichi: I know I stink, now can I take a shower?

Gundham: See you around mortal.- after he said that, Kazuichi entered his dorm and he went away. The breeder found the whole situation pretty scketchy, but he didn't thought nothing of it. He hadn't any reason to doubt the mechanic's words so he didn't.

Some time later Kazuichi was already in class, talking to his friends when Sonia brought up the party.

Sonia: So the party is gonna be tomorrow!

Kazuichi: Go it!

Nagito: Do you want us to help you whit anything?

Sonia: It's not needed, just be there at 8 pm.- after she said that, miss Yukizome entered the classroom and classes started. The blond princess in the middle of the class passed a paper to Nagito, that then passed it to Hajime, that then passed to Fuyahiko. The paper simple said: "Phase 1 part 1 completed"

*Flashback*

Sonia: The phase 1 of the operation, this phase doesn't have Gundham in it so we can say it's the easiest one. Part one, we need to convince Kazuichi that the party is in my house simple enough, we just have to be careful that people won't tell him where the party really is. I doubt his father would let him go even near it.

It was already lunch time, Kazuichi had bought something to eat and was seating whit his friends and his crush. He didn't consider Gundham as his friend quite yet, hopefully by the end of tomorrow thighs will change. 

Nagito: Why were you early today?

Kazuichi: Ya know, the usual.- that answer made Gundham second guess if he should have trusted the mechanic's words that morning. Now that he looked at Kazuichi really paying attention, some red flags came up. Something wasn't right, the mechanic looked tired, debilitated and like he didn't eat properly. Which raised the question in his mind:

Was the mortal really telling the truth?

The answer was obviously no, but the taller didn't understand why he should doubt him. It could be just a miss understanding and it was just a frequent issue that happened in his street, but that was highly unlikely.

Sonia: Hey Gundham, how are you doing?

Gundham: I have been fine, how about you dark princess?

Sonia: You know I've been great.

Gundham: And how about you, mortal Kazuichi?- the mechanic was shook as the breeder attempt to talk to him. He didn't try to get closer to people often so when he did it meant that Sonia's plan was going well.

Kazuichi: I'm fine, thanks for asking.

Sonia: So Gundham have you finally found that rollercoaster?

Gundham: I did, now we just need the entrance fee, it's the blood of a virgin, do you know one?- suddenly everyone just stared at Kazuichi.

Sonia: I know one.

Fuyahiko: I think we all know who you're talking about.

Kazuichi: Oh for fucks sake.

Hajime: Just accept the truth shark boy.

Kazuichi: Just shut the fuck up orange juice.

Fuyahiko Hey Kazzo bitch, you ate breakfast right?- he asked in a lower voice trying to not be heard by Gundham,but it didn't work.

Kazuichi: Yeah boss baby, I had it hidden away whit some money, but now I don't have more food hidden and I'm not sure when he will buy more.

Hearing this only raised more questions in Gundham's head. He let them be, for the moment, those questions would be asked in the party, when he could get the mechanic alone.
