Roses are my favourite because they are lovely,
they have different colours
and a breathtaking scent,
but even with such a beauty they have thorns,
and this reminds me of life,
there's an adage that says 'life is not a bed of roses'
but for me it is,
life is as sweet as the fragrance of a rose,
it is rough like the thorns,
and beautiful just like the petals,
so for me life is a bed of roses,
sweet,rough and beautiful.
