"I'm so bored. I don't wanna do the class. I hate maths." You whined. "Oh, come on! It's the last class. Plus I heard we have a new professor here. The girls say he is very handsome and I wanna see him." You're best friend Mina winked at you.
"Ugh! Fine, but only for you." You rolled you're eyes and opened the class door. You two sat beside each other like you always do. After 5 minutes the door opened and everyone became quiet.
"Hi class! I'm your new professor." He said. He was really handsome. He had beautiful eyes and a very deep voice. But he didn't smile at all. He seemed cold. But you liked it. "If I have this kind of professor why would I ever miss this class?" You thought.
"Oh shut up Y/n what are you thinking!? He is you're professor!" You yelled at yourself. "I'm Kim Taehyung. Your current math professor. Your previous math professor has been transferred to another class. I hope you all behave and be good students. Now open your math book and go to page 178." He said and went towards to the board straight.
You weren't hearing anything and we're only looking at his face. "Hey miss? Stand up!" He said suddenly. "M-me?" You asked. "Yes you." He said. You stood up slowly. The whole class was looking at you. "Did you note anything that I said till now?" He asked.
You looked at your blank notebook. "No professor." You said. "And may I know why?" He asked. "I became lost at my thoughts. I didn't notice. I'm sorry." You said. "Oh yeah!? What's your name?" He asked. "It's Lee Y/n." You said. "Okay so miss Lee you are gonna get detention after class. You can't go home. You have to write down everything I've taught now. Sit down." He said, sternly.
You quickly sat down. "I have a lot of trouble today I guess." You had your abusive mother at home. You never got detention. *what if she finds out about this. What if she hits me again?* All these thoughts started to run in your head.
3 hours later
You opened the door of your house slowly. It was already 6 pm. You only prayed that she was late from work today. Mr. Kim made you note everything again and you had to explain him whatever he and it wasn't easy. Cause you are weak at math. You are usually by home by 4. But today you were two hours late.
You found your mom sitting on the sofa. "Come here" She said sternly. "Where were you? Why are you this late?" She asked coldly. "O-our new professor wanted to explain something that's why." You lied. "I called Mina and she said only you were stuck there. You got detention and you have the audacity to lie to me!?" She yelled making you flinch.
She grabbed your hair and slapped you. She took a belt and whipped you making you yell loudly. But you knew it wouldn't have any effect on her. She always hated you since your dad got into a car accident and she always blames you for that. "Now got to your room!" She yelled and you run towards to your room.
You cried for a while. Nobody knew about your mom's abusive behavior. Not even Mina. Because you were scared to tell them. You were scared she would hate you again. Sometimes you thought you should end your life. But you had no courage for that.
