Our Year

Amy smiles at her friends. They're all over at Amy's house and the T.V.'s on showing the New York ball drop. They've got half and hour left. Amy has a plan to tell Shadow how she really feels on the countdown. Or rather show him. Amy smiles at Shadow and walks over to him. "Hey Shadow. Thanks for coming to celebrate." Amy says happily grinning. "Hmp. I just came because I don't have anything better to do." Shadow says turning his head. Amy frowns. "C'mon Shadow! It's almost the New Year. 2015 is coming. Goodbye 2014 and hello 2015. New Year's revolution. New year to do different things with your life. C'mon Shadow. Please at least try to be happy and have a good mood. At least smile." Amy begs. Shadow looks at her quizzically. Shadow's never met someone so eager to have him happy except Maria. "Fine. Just for you Rose." Shadow huffs. Amy smiles. "Thank you Shadow. That's really sweet." Amy says happily and gives him a peck on the cheek. Sonic watches from a distance and squeezes his cup. Sonic's eye twitches as Shadow blushes lightly and smiles. Amy's mine. Who does Shadow think he is. Sonic thinks to himself. Amy beams at Shadow as he puts his hand up to his cheek. Shadow smiles. Amy grins at Shadow's happiness. Shadow notices Sonic glaring at him and his smile turns into a frown. Amy frowns. "What's wrong Shadow?" Amy asks. "Faker over there is sending me dirty looks. This is why I didn't want to come in the first place because someone like him is always going to be rude to me no matter what." Shadow explains. Amy glares at Sonic who looks away. "Don't worry about him. He's just a jerk who sticks his nose where it doesn't belong." Amy snarls. Shadow's jaw drops. "I never thought I'd hear you ever say that Rose. You really have gotten over him." Shadow says shocked. "Yeah well. I kinda fell for someone else so I can't take all the credit." Amy says blushing and rubbing the back of her neck. "Who?" Shadow asks. Amy smiles at him. "At midnight all will be revealed." Amy says happily. Shadow smiles at her. She sure is happy. SShadow thinks to himself. "Guys! It's eleven fifty-nine." Blaze calls at the T.V. sitting by Silver. Everyone rushes over.

"Thirty seconds left." Amy whispers anxiously and hugs Shadow's arm making him blush. "Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five!" everyone cheers and Amy and Shadow face each other and look into each others eyes. "Four! Three!" they lean in. "Two! One!" their lips meet as everyone screams and hugs each other. Rouge cries and hugs Knuckles and kisses him. Blaze and Silver kiss. Cream and Tails kiss too. Sally kisses Sonic's cheek. Shadow and Amy break apart. "Shadow, will you be my boyfriend?" Amy asks nervously. Shadow smiles. "Yes I will Rose." Shadow answers and they kiss again.

(A/N) Happy New Year's! Oh my gosh! In Cailifornia it's not time yet but in some places it already has happend so happy New Year's to those people and to everyone else. At my house there's under an hour there left but in Cailifornia there's little under three hours left. Happy New Year! Hope you like my story. 2015 I'm ready for you! Come at me bro!
