Stages of grief are a myth till loss shatters you entire being in the dead of night

You have never hated the words "i'm sorry for your loss" till those words ring in your ear as you choke down tears at church

The pain starts as a pit in your stomach but rises to your heart as if its been thrown on the ground shattering like a fragile china doll

The memories, her voice and her beautiful smile

All lost for eternity

As if they never existed.

A lean forward and a nod back and shes gone

Sending hummingbirds of love
