Chapter 12 - Finally

Hey guys! I am finally uploading another chapter! I wonder how long it has been since I had that stupid cliff hanger on the last chapter. ANYWAYS, here is the next chapter.

Alison's Pov

'Where is he?' I was watching out my bedroom window watching for Jacob. He was supposed to be here a half an hour ago to pick me up for our date. I was starting to get so worried I just couldn't think straight. 'Did he get in a car accident?' 'Did he just forget about our date?' Does he not love me as much as he says he does?' There are just so many questions roaming in my head and I don't know if it is any of them. I looked down at my cell phone and saw that I already called him fifteen times with no answer. This time I figured that I would call someone else, so I dialed David's number since he is Jacob's best friend. It rang three times until he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey David. It's Alison."

"Hey Ali, aren't you supposed to be on your date with Jacob? I thought you were going out at 7?"

"Yeah, so did I. That's why I called you. I called his phone fifteen times and he never answered once, so I thought that maybe you knew where he was or may be? I am getting really worried about him."

"Sorry Ali, I have no idea where he is and I am in the middle of a dinner with Ashlee, so call me back if you find him. Have a good rest of the night otherwise."

"Thanks David, I could really use some of that happiness that you have in you. I hope I find him. Goodnight and tell Ashlee I said hi."

"Good luck and will do. Goodnight Ali." That was the end of that 'supposed to be helpful' phone conversation. Now I feel like I am never going to find him or figure out was wrong. God, I hope he is alright.

Jacob's Pov

"STUPID IDIOTIC COWS! MOVE!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs. I was so angry right now! There is like ten cows standing right in the middle of the road and I am only five miles away from Alison's house. I am now an hour late and I bet she thinks that something happened to me or that I blew her off. I don't want her to think that at all and I don't want her to stress out so much because of the baby. I would have called her to tell her what was wrong, but when I got out of the car to see if I could move the cows by myself by screaming at them right in their face, but instead one of them grabbed my phone of of my hand and decided that it was grass. So much for that idea. I can't believe that...that stupid cow took my only chance of saving this night from getting any worse, and why isn't anyone driving on this road?! COME ON!!

Alison's Pov

Now it's been over and hour and a half and he still isn't here. Something is going on and I want to find out. I walked out of the house and walked to the closest house to ask if I could borrow their car. I got to Mr. Klapets house and he let me borrow his mini van. I don't care for vans, but this one was so cool and I just had to find Jacob. There was only a seven mile drive to town, so I figured that I would try there first. After backing out of the driveway, my phone rang. It was my brother Matt.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Oh nothing much, just wondering how you are and if your packed and ready to go move in with Jacob. You are right?"

"Oh, I am packed, but I think I will be unpacking."

"WHAT? I mean what? Why?"

"I can't find Jacob anywhere. He don't pick up his phone, he never showed up for our date. That's why I am driving a mini van to town to look for him! If I don't find him, I guess he never really cared about me."

"Oh sis, I wish I could come and help you look right now, but I have one more class and I don't get done till ten thirty. Good luck though and If you don't find him tonight, but I do in the future.."

"Your going to mash his head in. Yeah, yeah I know. Have fun in your class and see you tomorrow!"

"I will try. Goodnight sis."

"'Night!" Thank god that conversation was over. I drove for a few more minutes until I saw a big black blob on the road. I slowed down until I came to a pile of cows in the middle of the road. I stopped the car and got out. "What the hell?!"

Jacob's Pov

Oh my god! It has been over an hour and forty-five minutes and these stupid cows never moved yet! Where is their owner?! I started to hit my head on the steering wheel until I saw lights threw some of the cows. I got out of my car and looked around, but I couldn't see anything until I heard a car door slam. 'What the hell?!' Omg! I knew already that was Alison's voice.

"ALISON!"

Alison's Pov

Hm, that was weird. Did I just hear a car door slam? No, that was probably just when I slammed the mini van door. 'ALISON!' What the? What is going on? Now why am I hearing my name? Wait, that sounded like...Jacob?!

"Jacob? Is that you?"

"Yes! It is me. Look, don't think that I blew you off or something. These stupid cows have been standing here for hours and I couldn't get around them."

"Why didn't you answer your phone? I was worried sick!"

"I was going to when I first got here, but one of the cows thought my phone was grass and swallowed it."

"Why would...oh. Your phone case was green. AHAHHAH! That is soo hilarious!"

"This isn't the best way to have a date, but I need to ask you something, even if your on the other side of these dumb cows and not next to me. Alison Lucielle Stache, with all of my love and caring, will you.." MOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"What?! I couldn't hear you!"

"I said will you.." MOOOOO! "AHH! STUPID COW SHUT UP! ALISON WILL YOU MARRY ME?!"

I just stood there laughing until I heard those last two words. Until I got over the huge shock wave that just went through my head I finally yelled. "YES!"

"Really?! You..you said yes?"

"YES Jacob, I said yes I will marry you!" I wanted to run into his arms right now, but I couldn't. SO, I hugged one of the cows and it went running along with the others behing it. "Well, that was easy!" I could finally see Jacob and we were both laughing so hard. Who knew that hugging a cow would make it move? Hahah. I ran over to Jacob and hugged him.

"Wait, I'll be right back." He ran to his car and grabbed something out of a little bag. "Hold out ur hand" I did as he told and he placed a ring on my finger. It was so beautiful!

"OMG! It so beautiful Jacob! I love you!"

"I love you too Ali, and now I am happy to say that you are mine!" I couldn't be more happier and I wondered what Matt would have to say about this. "Now, what do we say we go get your stuff and head to our house?"

"Hahha, I like the sound of that! Let's go! Fiance!"

"After you, fiance."

I think that I am going to be one of the happiest girls on this Earth, but if we are engaged, does that mean I have to tell him everything about me? I hope not. I will tell Jacob everything, but not about what happened in July two years ago. If I tell that story one more time, I just might kill myself! I just want to forget that night ever happened and move on with my life, but it just haunts me.
