Chapter 16

A bright , wide smile could be seen clearly on the blonde's face.she keep looking at the reflection of herself on the car window.she smooth down her clothes , making sure that she look beautiful enough before she'll meet the girl

Nothing could make her feel happier than getting to have a dinner with jennie on her birthday

Her hard work paid off , after not stopping from persuading the brunette to go have a dinner with her , jennie finally agreed to go when lisa asked her at the college this morning

And of course lisa was more than happy

She glance at the time and she have thirty more minutes , she decided to come early since she doesn't want jennie to be waiting for her

She drew in a long breath and release it deeply , she's too nervous but couldn't deny the excitement she felt since earlier

The waitress immediately bring her to the table , and they both exchange smile with a bow before the waitress leave.lisa sit on the chair , her hands balled into fist as she place it on her lap while her feet already tapping repeatedly

She have been nervous since the moment jennie saying yes to her , and thankfully chaeyoung was there and have been helped her a lot to choose a perfect clothes for her to wear tonight 

Her eyes scanned the whole place but more to the entrance of the restaurant , searching for the figure of the brunette she've been waiting for

"10 more minutes.." lisa mumble , nervously clasping her hands together on her lap

The time flies so fast that the ten minutes had already passed.her heart was racing as her eyes keep flickered to the entrance to see if the brunette already here , but she still hasn't come yet

Lisa wait patiently and lifted her wrist to look at the time on her watch , fifteen minutes had passed from the actual time that they have both promised to come , but lisa choose to not think too much about it and just wait for the girl

But soon , she's getting tired of waiting.when earlier the place was filled with a lot of people , but now there's only a few left.lisa slowly get worried thinking about jennie.she've been waiting for an hour , but she's still persist to wait for jennie to come.she's scared that jennie would come after she leave , and that's the last thing she want to happen

But it's still happened , only in a different way

"Lisa i'm sorry but i can't come , i'm out with my friends"

The voice in the other line made the smile that she have been wearing on her face slowly fade away.

"B-but i'm already here.." she said in whispered

"I'm sorry , let's just meet tomorrow at college.i'll treat you a lunch" the brunette replied.lisa took a seconds to answer as she bit her lips with a closed eyes , holding herself back from speaking with a crack voice

Why do she need to went out with her friends when she's already promised her that she will come?

And why this need to happened on her birthday?

"Lisa?"

Hearing her name being called bring her back to reality.she swallow thickly , before forcing a smile to formed on her lips

"I-it's fine , have fun with your friends..i'll see you tomorrow"lisa said , barely above whisper

after the call ended , she sank herself against the chair , staring vacantly on the table
