Ghost Ash [Complete]

Chapter 8

Pikachu's POV

Ash had disappeared in all the smoke, I quickly searched the area as fast as I could looking for my beloved trainer. The forest area was dark, I had no clue where we are. Noone would ever find us...

James face turned to shock as he stood on the edge of a cliff. My curiosity got the better of me... I thought that James was going to jump, I can't let him do that even if he did betray us!. I ran over and James began to shake furiously, as he pointed to at the area below. I finally realised where they had taken us on this far away journey... We were in Kalos.... No... Not Again...

I stared at the foggy world below, I could make out a dark figure of a person which laid on a bush. I didn't think anything of it until James said 'A- Ash..!'

My heart exploded I felt a sense of wonder and lose. I couldn't believe that he...he really was gone. This can't be happening my best friend. My best friend is dead.

I took one last glance at the figure but what I saw shocked me the dark figure was gone. 'PIKKKAAAAA' I called out, it echo through the trees, I wonder if Ash could hear me and if I will ever see him again.

Ash's POV

The force of the impact made me feel weightless, I wished I could open my eyes but I just couldn't. It felt like a force was weighing my eye lids down.

I felt my body smack into rocks and stones as I fell through the air causing immense pain in my side. Suddenly I crash into a soft-ish object. I was shocked I wasn't dead. The force of the crash made my eyes snap open. I took deep breaths as I felt my life flash before my eyes and the events that had just happened came back to me full on.

I looked up to see a yellow creature stare at me, It face filled with fear and upset. 'Pi...ka...chu' I wanted to shout but it only came out as a whisper. He couldn't hear me. I tried to stand up but I grabbed my side in pain. I had to get to somewhere safe... I need to find Pikachu and find Dawn.

The first thing I need to know is where am I? and how do I get out!. I began to walk towards the light through the thick forest ahead. 'Maybe there's a town up ahead?'

I decided to take my chances and walked into the gloomy and mysterious forest.

For some reason I feel like I had been here before, Suddenly it hit me... This is where I travelled with Serena, Clemont and Bonnie. We got lost and without warning Pikachu disappeared, it took us two days to find him and those days made me feel alone and scared for Pikachu but I never gave up looking for him. But one person was able to cheer me up and that was Serena, she made me laugh but then it got awkward as she slowly moved towards me... I was creeped out a little but it didn't matter she was friend...

FlashBack (10 years ago)

We were on our first day of our search for my best friend, he was in the deepest part of the forest it felt like it was never ending. I put my hands over my eyes to hide the tears I shred. I just couldn't get over the face that I could never find him.

'We are not leaving this forest until we find Pikachu!' I cried, as I tried to hide my tears.

The gang looked at me with confusion on their faces but then there expression changed. 'We know Ash we wouldn't any ways Pikachu is your bestfriend and we wouldn't leave our Pokemon if they where lost. So I promise you we will not leave til we find Pikachu!' announced Clemont, as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

'Yeah you can believe my brother' said Bonnie as she smiled at me.

'Ash sit down a minute' Serena said as she gestured to the log.

'Okay..' I was confused maybe she wanted to chat. I walked over to the log and sat down, and Serena did too.

I felt a wave of sadness overcome me and I just couldn't hide it anymore.

'Ash look at me' Serena said as she stared intensely at me.

I looked at Serena but didn't say a word.

'Listen I know this is hard but you got to believe we will find him and I will not stop until we do'

'Thank you' I faked smile but I just couldn't believe that now.

'You once told me when we were younger in Professor Oaks summer camp that We should never give up til its over!' Serena said worriedly, she smiled at me making me smile too. She always knew how to cheer me up. I just laughed and she knew then that I was okay.

But then... Serena began to slowly get closer to me, it made me feel awkward, but I thought that she would hug me... Boy was I wrong. She suddenly placed her lips onto mine, I didn't know what to do... but I decided to kiss her back. Although I had never kissed a girl before. Getting kissed by a Latios doesn't count!, in this situation.

Clemont and Bonnie stared at us but broke into a smirk as they knew that this day would come eventually!.

End of Flashback.

I saw the log that I had my first proper kiss on, it was such a long time ago but now I have a beautiful wife and I still have my best friend always there for me. But I do miss Serena a lot... I hated the day she died, it still haunts me to this day. But I can't let her death haunt me forever, that is why I have Dawn she came to comfort me in my time of need and that is how our relationship grew.

Speaking of Dawn I hope she is okay?.

I started to feel weak, my bones ached and my side was killing me, I started to make my way over to the log to sit down but I never made it.

I collapsed to the ground, I managed to get out a couple of words before I passed out.

'Pika...c...hu i...I ....Lov..e..... You'

Pikachu's POV

I need to find Ash before its too late. I was still looking down the cliff, i scanned the area and in the corner of my eye I saw a mysterious liquid... it was red and it looks fresh. Is it what I think it is?... Is it blood? If so is it Ash's?

All different questions raced in my mind 'WE HAVE TO FIND ASH NOW' I shouted.

Meowth looked at me with a puzzled face 'Why whats up Pikachu? Im sure the Twerps fine?'

'NO HES NOT LOOK' I screamed as I pointed to the liquid on the rocks on the cliff

Meowth gulped and he knew that Ash was in trouble.

'JESSIE, JAMES.... We need to get down the cliff now Ash is in danger' Meowth alerted them.

'Let's go' I said,

I need to find Ash and save him!

If only I got there on time....
