John's pov
"Daddy!daddy!look how tall I am!"Hayley said excitedly,"alright hold still."i said as I grabbed a pencil.she lined up against the door,I drew a line on top of her head.we both looked at it,"I'm so tall!"she said.i smiled,"yes you are,maybe you'll be taller than me."i said.she gasped,"no way daddy,no one can be taller than you."she said as i lifted her up."Daddy do you have another job today?"she asked me,I stopped in front of the door.i gently put her down,"I do,but I'm not leaving you with Angela today."I said.she gasped and smiled,"really?!"she exclaimed.i nodded,she squealed and hugged me."I'm gonna get my gear!"she said,she ran to her room.i stood up,"her gear?"i said.i shook my head,I didn't want to question it.
She walked back wearing a tie,she also had a backpack on her back."I'm ready!"she said excitedly,I smiled and chuckled,"alright then,come along Hayley bear."i said.i held out my hand,she happily held my finger as we walked down the stairs and left the apartment building."Heya John!hey there Hayley!"Chaz greeted us,"Hey Chaz!"Hayley greeted him as I opened the door.as we got in the car Hayley said,"Daddy's taking me on one of his jobs today!"she had a huge smile on her face as I closed the door."Do you think that's safe John?"Chaz asked,"she's a Constantine,besides she'll stay by my side."i said.
