Chap. 46

After he closes the door, he embraces me in a big hug that I don't deny. I barely stand on my tip toes as he is 5'9 and I'm 5'4. He takes me to his room, and I sit.

"So what is this about?" I ask. He sits next to me, "Cam has been calling me five times a day about you," he says.

I sigh, "I keep on telling him not to worry. Does he know I'm in Louisiana?" I ask worriedly.

He shakes his head, "no, I take it he calls all the boys at least five times a day as well..," he says.

I look down, "look, I'm coming back as soon as I leave my parents house. I'll call him when I get there," I say.

He stares into my eyes, "promise?" He asks.

I stick out my pinkie, "promise," I say as he wraps his finger around mine. I kiss his cheek as I leave (in a friendly way of course). I meet Jack in the car, "how'd it go babe?" He asks.

I smile, "fine, I told him I'd call Cameron when I got to my parents house," I say. Jack nods and kisses my temple as he starts the car. "Good," he says and back up.

My eyes widen as I see a sign that says,

Atlanta- 596 miles

Only 8 more hours, 8 more. I slowly drift off to sleep, not tired at all.

I wake up around 5pm, and me and Jack stop at a Taco Bell. We sit at a booth and eat our food.

The sun will be setting in a couple hours, just as we should be arriving in Atlanta.

"So, we'll be getting there soon. I'm hoping we can stay the night there, and leave in the morning if that's alright with you..?" He says as he grabs my hand and kisses it.

I smile, "it depends on how well it goes down," I say as I cram some taco in my mouth.

"It'll go fine," he says looking me in the eyes with a look I won't forget.
