The next day, Logan had returned to his schedule. The schedule that didn't involve Remus.
In fact, he was quite cold to Remus. Ignoring him. So...Remus did the rational thing, confessing to Logan. He waited until night, when Logan was brushing his teeth, walking in the bathroom and grabbing his own toothbrush. "Hey, Lolo!"
"Hm?" Logan hummed, starting to rinse his mouth.
"I love you! Like- I've had the hugest crush on you forever," Remus smiled, his hand fidgeting as his foot bounced against the ground quickly. Logan choked, finishing rinsing his mouth, before looking down.
"I'm sorry, I could never have an infautaion with...a dark side,"
'Never'
Remus' heart burned, his chest was on fire and his throat itched. He just wanted to claw his heart out and throw it away so this aweful burning would stop.
"O-okay!" Remus laughed. 'Never never never!'
Logan nodded and walked away, confused at the soft pain he felt. He wondered why.
'Never...?'
He wondered what he had done wrong. Or, was he doomed from the beggining? Was it all because of the fact that he was stuck with a racing mind? With thoughts that stabbed and forced their were out? Was it because...
'I could never have an infautaion with a dark side,'
He never stood a chance. Never ever.
