You realised that prophet(saw) would call Ali(ra) his brother. So umm e Aymen asked why? He would still call him his brother? Prophet(saw) said," I choose Ali(Ra) to be my brother after Hijrah(after conquest of Makkah).
Prophet(saw) would consult Ali in any Matters, in sensitive Manner etc.. he(saw) wouldn't get in the marriage of Ali and Fatima(Ra) in any whatsoever.
The position of Ali(Ra) and Fatima(Ra) are well known for everyone but I wanted to specifically talk about Fatima(Ra) post. There are two narration's that shows the special relation of prophet(saw) and Fatima(Ra).
One of them is, when prophet(saw) came home after a journey, the prophet(saw) did what he always do. He went to the masjid first and preform his two Rakah and than he would visit Fatima(Ra).
So Fatima(Ra) welcome him(saw). She did what she always do, she kissed his forehead and hands, gave him her place As the prophet(saw) would do when she walked in his room, kissed her forehead, put her in his place.
Fatima(ra) after that started crying. Prophet(saw) asked, why are you crying? She said, You are pale, your clothes are shabby and you are not eating." She is still umm Abiha(mother of her father). She's upset because she can see deterioration of the prophet(saw) physically.
Once again prophet(saw) comforts her. He said,"don't cry because Allah has sent your Father with a mission, which he will cause to reach every single household, which is on the phase of this earth. Whether it be in town, villages or deserts. Don't cry because these message which has consumed me and us in this difficult moments, these message is going to reach every single household on earth. It's going to be worth it at the End of the Day."
As prophet(saw) comforted Fatima(Ra) in Mecca when Abu Jahal put the gut of the animals on his back, when Fatima(Ra) started crying so much that prophet(saw) comforted her by saying Allah is going to support your Father, Allah is going to give victory to your Father, it shows something special that Fatima(Ra) understood what her father was saying to her.
These is a woman who perfect her faith, her attachment to Islam is not just because of her father. She perfected her imaan, she is a woman of prayers, supplications, devotion, a women who has her own special relationship with Allah.
We asked Allah to allow us to be like them. I ask Allah to unite us with our families and to unite us with these blessed family in highest level of jannatul Firdous.. Aameen
