I was feeding Justin and scrolling through Twitter to see what my other Army colleagues were doing. I was scrolling when I came across a video of Carmen, Carmen is the girl Jimin and I met that one time we went for a walk. She passed away last night. She was murdered. I didn't notice I was crying until a tear drop hit my phone screen. We lost an Army. "Baby? Are you okay? Why are you crying?" Jimin asks me rubbing my back. "Remember Carmen?" I ask him. "Yes of course, we met her during our walk. Why?" Jimin asks me. "She passed away last night. She was meditating when a man with a gun came and shot her 7 times in the head." I say crying harder. I put Justin gently on the floor and Jimin comes and hugs me tight.
"Awwww baby, don't cry. I know it's heartbreaking. I can't imagine what her family is going through. She was such a sweet girl." Jimin says rubbing my back. "Have you noticed her before?" I ask him. "Yes, we all did. She was on a few TV shows and was very popular. I'm not sure how the others are gonna feel about this." Jimin says hugging me tighter. A knock on the door interrupts us. It was the other members. We let them in. "What's wrong guys?" Jungkook asks. "Do you guys know Carmen?" I ask them. They all nod. "She passed away last night. She was murdered." I say. All their jaws drop. "So, Carmen's gone?" Hobi asks with tears in his eyes. "Yes, forever." I say with a shaky voice.
"She was such a sweet girl. How was she murdered?" Namjoon asks. "She was at her home meditating when a man with a gun snuck up behind her and shot her 7 times in the head." Jimin says. "Wow, that's crazy!" Yoongi says. "Everyone on Twitter is upset and grieving. I was looking at tweets, videos, everything." I say showing them. "She's so beautiful. 'Carmen Rodriguez, 2002 - 2021.' She was only 19." I say crying harder. We didn't even know her but it was still sad. She was an Army. She was a person. We will miss you Carmen. I scroll to see a post from her mom. It was in Spanish so I translated it.
'This is Carmen's mother,
It hurts us to say that it is confirmed that Carmen Rodriguez has died last night around 12:30. She was meditating before bed as she normally was when a man around 6'5 with a gun came in with a gun a gave Carmen 7 bullets to the head. When me and her father returned home we found her under the covers bleeding out of her head. We took her to the hospital but it was too late. She had died there. We ask for privacy as we grieve over Carmen and get her the justice she deserves and puts that man in jail. Thank you for your time, I love you all ❤️

My heart broke reading that. I hope Carmen gets the justice that she deserves and that man gets in jail! Rest In Peace Carmen. We love you. We hope you continue your support from heaven. You will be missed dearly. You are in our hearts and always will be 🕊.
