The news of the disappearance of a 16 year old girl called Julia was the talk of the town since it was the only interesting thing that has happened in the town of Thornton. The town knew that during the disappearance of Julia the only people that were with her before she disappeared were 4 girls who were with her all the time the girls were called Rebecca, Amy, Lily and Riley. These girls were always hang out together and whenever one of them weren't with them everyone found it weird that the whole group wasn't together. The police questioned all four girls and all four girls claimed that they don't know where Julia is or who took Julia or even if she is dead. Riley, the one with the brains, knew that whoever took Julia that she wouldn't go down without a fight. Lily, the athlete, knew that Julia wouldn't go anywhere without telling them or leaving them a message. Rebecca, the artsy one, knew that Julia wouldn't go anywhere without telling her parents. Amy, the spoilt one, knew that Julia would know if someone was in her house or in the barn where all the girls were the night she disappeared.

All the girls were brought in to be questioned about the disappearance of Julia because the police knew that all the girls were there the night that Julia disappeared. The police called the girls In one by one and first up was Riley, she told them that they all slept in the barn that was in her garden because they were having a sleepover and when they she woke up the barn doors were open and Julia was gone and the rest of the girls were asleep so she woke them up and asked them if any of them had seen Julia and all of them said that they hadn't so then they all started to look for Julia in her house and in the garden but had no luck so then they asked her parents if they had seen her but they also said no they hadn't seen her and then they went looking all over the town but still couldn't find her. All the other girls statements matched with Riley's so the police ruled out that the girls had anything to do with Julia's disappearance. All four girls after they had finished at the police station went to Riley's house and discussed what had happened to Julia and if they would ever find her or if she was dead. After they had all finished talking each of the girls went back to their own houses and tried to sleep even though the girls knew that they couldn't sleep when one of their friends were missing and could possibly be dead but they just hadn't found her yet but all the girls wished that they had found Julia. Meanwhile at Riley's house she went to the barn to see if she could find out where Julia might be or if anything has happened to her. Riley looked where Julia was sleeping and she had found a note that said " I have Julia - H". So the next morning the girls met at Riley's house.
