The small spotlights all swirled around creating a beautiful pattern before focusing on me.

I blinked for the sudden brightness but focused to see all the people turning around to see me. The mic resonated with a high pitched sound, silence following afterwards.

I peered my gaze on my locket that held the most precious moment of me with my parents. I love you Mom and Dad.

Gulping, I wrapped my hands around the mic as Miss Alyssa played the soft melody on the piano. Closing my eyes, I tried to imagine something different. Something other than William and my parents.

But I couldn't. They were my everything.

"I just have this to say, no matter what others say, high school has been one of the greatest times of my life. I had great friends and teachers who have supported me through out this year and I can't be more grateful."

By then, I had most of the people's attention as they all waited for me to continue.

"The song I'm gonna sing is for my favourite person, wh-who is not with me today," I choked on my own words before adding, "This is for you William,"

My voice cracked on the first few words but I saw Mikayla nodding her head. Letting out a shaky breath I continued,

The words may have been the lyrics of the song but those were the exact words I would want to say to William.

I couldn't stop the tears as they fell hopelessly while the people cheered me knowing nothing what I was going through. Not knowing how much I needed him.

Looking through my teary eyes, I saw some people crying, Britney looking at me with a different emotion.
