as I look up I feel my heart melt as I gaze into his sea green eyes. getting pulled into his trance, getting pulled to cloud nine. I feel my cheeks burn, and I bit my lower lip softly. I smile and he smiles back, my heart skipped a beat. I feel butterflies in my stomach and I begin to smile bigger. I look down, not wanting him to know how much I like him.. but when I look up,he was gone. "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-" I shut off the alarm, wishing my dream was reality. I go to the mirror to look at myself. I'm sixteen today. my special day that I had been waiting for. I look in the mirror hopeing to be completely transformed but I look at my reflection and I see the same girl: light skin, chocolate brown eyes, dirty blonde hair and of course my birthmark that I hate :( I sigh. relizeing I was the same girl I was yesterday.

I put on my white strapless hollister shirt and went downstairs. my mother came out of her room with a green dress that went to her knees and wore black high heels. she had hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!" she squealed. "thanks mom. where's dad?" I said looking in the bedroom. she smiled. "its a surprise " she wisperd. I nodded and said bye while leaveing the house. I started walking to school when my best friend jay walked up and said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" while giveing me a big bear hug. I laughed. "thanks" I said. he wore a green t-shirt witch made his hazel eyes stand out.we've been best friends since 2nd grade and hes never left my side. everyone thought we looked good together but I never saw it. we walked to school in silence until he muttered "were here" I look up to see him. the guy of my dreams. the guy ive been secretly in love with for years.
Josh looked up at me and smiled. I blushed and smiled back. He continued talking to his friends and I looked down, still blushing."why don't you hit say hi to him already?" jay said. "because I wouldn't know what to say..." I mumbled looking up at him. He nodded and walked me to class. "see u later birthday girl!" he said a he walked away. I walked into class towards the back as usual. When I say down. Someone tapped on my shoulder.. I turned around to see josh wearing his killer smile. I smiled immediately then closed my mouth so I didnt look like a weirdo. "so I hear it's ur birthday ?" he said . I melted. His husky voice flooded in my ears sounding like a deep melody. I nodded, afraid nothing would come out of my mouth. "well happy birthday see you around ....? " he asked for my name . "Jessica its Jessica and thanks." I said. He flashed another killer smile .. He's way out of my league. He was to cute. With his dark brown shaggy hair that reached to his sea green eyes. And his crooked smile with those perfectly white straight teeth. ... He was like a god in every way.! He was perfect. "nice name. Well see you around Jessica I hope all your wishes come true." he left towards his seat. I say down and thought about my wish.
