Chapter 1

Steve Rogers and Tony Stark laid in Tony's bed all snuggled up after their usual hook up. They have been together for almost a year now. People were happy for the two Bi heroes who were clearly in love.

Steve kissed Tony's neck knowing that he had fallen in love with the billionaire. So he wanted to tell Tony the truth.

"Hey Tones. Can I tell you something?" Steve questions kissing Tony's neck.

"You can tell me anything." Tony says.

"Tony, I love you." Steve says.

Tony moved away from Steve and sat up on the bed. Tony only wanted Steve as a fuck buddy. He didnt want one to fall in love.

"You dont love me do you?" Steve questions.

Tony didnt say anything and Steve knew what that meant. Steve got up and got dressed and went to the door.

"Good Luck, Stark." Steve says.

Steve walked out his heart shattered. He walked to his room and laid down in his bed. Steve only fell in love once before and now he is had fallen in love again. He thought this time he could have a happy ending, but that wasnt the case.

"Need a friend?" Nat questions entering his room.

Steve said nothing and Nat could hear his small sobs. She climbed into the bed and hugged the solider. She knew about him loved Tony cause no one can lie to Nat. She knew how Tony would freak out and hurt him and so she held Steve close to her. How could Tony look at Steve with love in his eyes and still hurt him? That was a question Nat wanted the answer too.

(6months later)

Y/N worked for the Avengers for a couple of years now. So she knew the team better then herself. She was closest with Nat and Wanda

Things though were starting to change when Tony started to express interest in her. She knew about him and Steve everyone did, which is why she tried to keep her distance.

Though Tony always found her and he always put the flirt on. Y/N tried to not let him get to her, but he was a very charming man.

"Y/N Y/L/N, come on Darlin. Lets go out on a date. I know we'll have fun." Tony says winking at her.

"Tony... I.." Y/N says.

"Darlin, you cant say no to me. Your so beautiful and you cant stop blushing when I talk to you. I make you weak in the knees." Tony says.

He moved a strain of her out of her face. He kissed her cheek and walked away. Leaving her alittle note saying

You know where I'll be for your yes.

Steve saw the whole thing and he wasnt happy about it. Now Steve wasnt jealous sure he still loved Tony, but this wasnt about him.

It was about Y/N. Steve couldnt even think about another being broken hearted by Tony.

"Y/N, You cant go out with Tony." Steve says.

"Steve... I.." Y/N says.

"This isnt about what Tony and I once had. This about you being hurt. Tony is just gonna do to you what he did to me. What he has done to many. Im just trying to help." Steve says.

"Steve, if I agree to go out with Tony it will just be a date. Thats all." Y/N says.

"Thats how it begins. He always gets the date to be more. Y/N..." Steve says.

"Steve, I have work to do." Y/N says.

Y/N went to go do her work and all she could think about was what Steve had said. Then Tony found her doing her work and bam it was like she was in another world.

"Darlin? Its just a lunch date." Tony says.

He was too charming to persuasive so Y/N gave in to Tony and she went on the date with him.

When the media got word of Tony's date they talked. Steve didnt want to see that Y/N agreed to Tony's offer, but he did.

"Poor Y/N. She is just gonna get played with." Steve says.

But there was nothing he could do. He would just look like a jealous ex and that wasnt what he wanted. Though maybe alone he could talk Y/N into getting away from Tony. It would safe alot of pain and thats what Steve wants to help Y/N avoid.

Avoid the same pain that Tony placed on his heart that hasnt healed yet. He wasnt gonna let another go down that same path.
