After the events at the mansion, the League was brought down and captured one by one.
Hawks wasn't asked to sit through most of the  court trials because he was busy recovering, mentally and physically.
The Winged Hero had suffered severe burns inflicted by the cremation villain, Dabi.

Hawks's wings couldn't be recovered.

The vision in his left eye was gone.

He was forced to retire at the young age of twenty-three years.

He supposed that was what he deserved for betraying the love of his life and murdering the kindest villain the world had ever known.

Now the hero sat for the one and only trail and sentencing that he would be attending.

The trial for Dabi- for the newly exposed Touya Todoroki.

...

Hawks shifted in seat, the lack of weight on his back where his wings once sat surprising him yet again.
The courtroom was cold and the air was far too stale.
Heroes like Midnight, Eraserhead and a few others intermingled with citizens to form a straggly Jury.
T

he blond man felt rather uncomfortable as eyes flickered back and forth to him followed by softly spoken gossip. Most looked at him with pity and awe over the grand sacrifice he'd made for Japan's sake- losing his quirk, his vision- but what they were unaware of was the greater loss the weighed him down; the loss of a beautiful and gentle love.

Taking down the League was the hardest thing he had ever done because deep down inside, he knew they were actually good people fighting for what they believed in.

"Keigo Takami."

The hero's gaze slowly lifted off the floor at the sound of his name which had been spat like acid. With faltering breath, he found that Dabi had entered with policemen on either side, gripping his tightly cuffed arms.
The once soft sapphire eyes now glared at him with a burning hatred so intense that he flinched.
The villain shifted from his escorts, slowly stalking his way over. Though the man now wore a sickening orange jumpsuit, he still wore his tall black combat boots that clacked loudly against the floor with every precise step he took.

The hero's heart faltered as Dabi stopped mere inches away.
"Touya, I-"
He was cut off by a sharp, low laugh. "You lost the privilege to call me that, traitor."

His blue eyes shimmered with a wicked glee as he trailed them up and down the blond, taking in the damages. His staples clicked crudely against his quirk cancellation handcuffs as his hands curled in and out of fists.
Seeing him like this made it hard for the hero to ever believe he had once held the heart of the dark, scarred man. He choked back the feelings of desperation and loss as quickly as they came.
Now wasn't the time to feel sorry for himself.

Before he could say a word, Touya leaned in close, his breath hot and intoxicatingly familiar against the hero's skin.
He closed his eyes as a gentle kiss was placed on his cheek, the villain's rough lips resting there for a heartbeat as he took a ragged breath.

Hawks shivered, a cold fear shooting down his spine as Dabi straightened, regaining his composure.

His purple scarred face twisted into a wicked grin, making a staple pop out of his cheek leaving a small trail of blood in its absence. "A Judas kiss, Keigo."
He wiped the blood of his face before adding, "If I'm going down, so are you."

"Dabi, what are you talking about?" He fought and failed to keep his voice steady.

"The Prosecutor is about to become the Defendant."

He took a few steps before turning to add over his shoulder, "See you in Hell, hero."

Keigo watched with a sinking heart as the villain smugly slunk back across the room, sitting down in his seat like he was a king in his throne.

I'm sorry..
