Little happenings

Babys first kick

Takashi had ended up panicking during month five, realising he knew nothing about babies and when he asked his father, the man just laughed at him. So, Mori picked up about two hundred dollars worth of books on how to make the pregnancy more comfortable, the babies' development over the gestation period, and what to know when the baby comes out. He always read them while Carter was sleeping, so he could discuss his new readings with the unborn children.
Carter had been feeling them move for over a month and he was excited for when it was his turn. So one night when he was reading, he was shocked to find out that the twins could actually hear him already, so he put the book down, turn off the light, and scooched down the bed so his face was right at his wives stomach.
"I know you two can hear me and I just wanted to let you know I'll do my best to be a dad. I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I'm sure you'll help me figure it out. I love you two," He ended his schpeel by kissing right above Carters belly button and rubbing the exposed side of her belly. After a minute of rubbing, Carter woke up with a groan. "Are you teaching them kendo from the womb?" She groans and when she sees her husband staring with furrowed eyebrows, she moves his hand down a little.
"I think you inspired some movement with your first parent talk," She giggles as he gaps at her stomach, feeling rapid kicks from both twins against his hand.

Gender secrets

Carter manged to put off the gender ultrasound until month six, but the club was bugging her. All of them wanted to know if it would be boys or girls, but Carter walked into the ultrasound techs office with only Kyoya. Haruhi had school work, the twins and Tamaki were not informed, and Honey and Mori were at a Kendo match.
"So, this is for the gender and to make sure everything is going according to plan," She says, helping Carter get ready on the table while Kyoya smirks at his phone. "Misuzu says she wants to make refreshing first baby blankets, so I have to send her the gender," He says and Carter chuckles, "Fine, you can tell my single cousin as long as she doesn't tell anyone else, including me,"
Hearing that, the tech turns the screen away from Carters view, so only the tech and Kyoya could see it. Carter had put on headphones in case the two had to discuss anything. Kyoya was able to know what he was looking for and at, so all he says while texting Misuzu was, "How rare,"

First braxton hick

It was around month seven, school had just started a month ago and Carter was losing her mind. It had occured to her that she needed to speed through her school work if she wanted to graduate on time because the school had already declinded her requests for online school, maternity leave, and crash courses. They just gave her the option of doing both semesters classes in one semester and she didn't have to physically be in all of the classes as long as she had above an eighty in the class.
So one day during free period, she was working on math, sitting on the floor with Snail behind her to support her back while Takashi and Honey discussed Kendo matches for the next kendo meeting. "Do you need some help?" Honey asks, walking over to sit next to her while Mori leaves to grab snacks. "Do you know calculus? Aparently I was going to end up in three math classe next semester. I already did all of the work for Trig and Geometry, but I wanna know where I signed up for personal torture," She groaned, leaning onto Honeys shoulder while the childlike boy gazed over her work and petted her head comfortingly.
"Yasuchika might be able to help you. He excels in these types of classes, so I'll text him to go home with Satoshi today," Honey says and Carter grins, "Only if he is done with his work, though, okay?" She says and Honey nods, saying a "Ma'am yes ma'am!" and saluting. Carter just rolled her eyes and began her journey of trying to stand up from the ground, grabbing the couch with one hand and the table with the other.
She managed to get to a kneeling position before gasping in surprise as she felt her belly tighten and the twins go haywire. This happened to be when Mori was on coming back, so when he saw his wife in pain from being kicked in the ribs and Honeys look of panic, he dropped everything in his arms and rushed to grab Carter. After a moment, the tightness released and she groaned in relief, rubbing the sore skin under her ribs.
"What was that?" Honey exlcaims once she has her breath back. "That," Carter begins, grinning at her cousin, "Was the first noticable braxton hick, or practice contraction,"
Thing is, all the cousins heard was, "first contraction," So Honey yelled and ran to find Kyoya while Carter had to fight Takashi from calling the hospital.

Hobbies

Having someone around that knows you from your childhood can be difficult sometimes, luckily, Haruhi only remembered one of Carters old hobbies and that was dance. But Misuzu on the other hand, who drove down during month seven, remembered a few more. She was dropping off the baby blankets and had a few requests of the future mom.
The Host club, Carter, and Misuzu were all in a circle to discuss things, the twins and Tamaki attempting to weasel the gender out of the eldest in the room. "No, Carter isn't even opening the box until they're born," Misuzu states, sticking out her tongue before turning back to the pregnant teen. "Now, I'm working on decorations in the pension and I was wondering if you would paint some canvases for me. You've seen my colour scheme and theme, so I figured I buy all the stuff needed and let you find your own inspiration for it. If you want to at least,"
"You paint?" Tamaki asks and Carter freezes with a sheepish grin, "Kind of?" She says and Haruhi's eyebrows furrow, "She draws all of the time, so I can't say I'm surprised," The statement has the twins gasping, "Sister is keeping her talents from us!" They sob and Takashi looked at his wife, "Is that the book?" He asks, referring to the one he always thinks she is reading.
"I didn't keep it from you, you just never asked or noticed when I was drawing," she fumbles and the twins dash to her book bag, rummaging through it until they come up with a small, but thick sketch book. Everyone gathers around the twins as they flip through the book, gasping at each picture, "How could you not tell u-Wow, Mori senpai, she drew you shirtless and you didn't even know!"
"Haruhi?" Carter calls and the fellow teen female steps over, "I'm being scolded for their lack of attention,"
